The scariest part of the ride is the way the queue operates. People push to get to the wall where the doors open and when they finally open people shove to get to the loading area lines. I’ve experienced numerous times people shoving and almost coming to blows. They need a cast member there to maintain some order. Someone is going to get hurt someday

    1. 26 pedofiles arrested at Disney in 2022..6 in 2023 so far ..DISNEY HIRES CHILD GROOMERS AND PEDIFILES .

      1. Lorenzo

Really is this what you came up with? You must be one of the Q cult? How’s the waiting on JFK going? Must be hot out where a hat of snowflake?

      2. Carol

Nah! What would be the advantage to that?

      3. Kim

Now for fun take a peek at your place of employment…any job has these scum buckets – a dad was arrested for molesting his daughter on a cruise – his occupation – police officer – should we shut down the police? Stop being dense – there are 166,000 Disney employees in the US – you’re going to have few sickos, wife beaters, tax evaders and every other crime imaginable slip through

    2. Joem

You are right Sheila. Many people know which door opens and they plant themselves in front of it, not even watching the pre-show. Then they crush through the doors as if riding two or three rides later will ruin their day.

It wasn’t at EPCOT, it was many years ago on Splash Mountain at Disneyland in Anaheim. The ride broke down, we stood in line in close quarters for two hours. People knew how to act in those days so there were no fights, freakouts or meltdowns. We all patiently waited until the problem was fixed and enjoyed the ride.

I hate it when Disney staff forces everyone to shove into spaces shoulder yo shoulder. It’s not only uncomfortable on hot days, it’s not safe with illnesses still going around and you’ve got people who suffer from anxiety etc or disabilities. They are not understanding in this area at all

    1. Connie

And what I found interesting, both times we visited Disneyland, Paris, not once where we asked to “move forward” or “fill in all the available space”… and you know what, everyone got on the rides just fine… i’m so over Disney World treating us like cattle.

  4. Chris

    Cattle.

  5. DisneyGirl

Yeah….no.The way my anxiety is,I would’ve had to leave. They can scan my pass and see I have a DAS because I couldn’t stand in that.

Getting trapped in the dark on a Disney ride is par and seen as an enhancement to the ride.

    1. Donna

The rides are not perfect. But with the traffic Disney has they do better than most parks. They also comply with the authorities to fix the rides and learn what needs to be fixed for future breakdowns.

Oh no, a hall scared someone 🤣. This is comical.
    Signed,
    The entire Gen X

    1. Amanda

Extremely Comical! Common Sense went out the door after our generation! Thanks for the good laugh! Gen X

    2. Dino

Well said. Just make them a safe spot. 😂

This is a very unfortunate incident and measures should be taken to alleviate or prevent it from happening again. However, it’s disheartening at times to hear people suggesting that this is Disney’s intention or somehow they want this to happen. Indeed they need to pay closer attention but it’s hard to believe that this accident was I tentional

  10. Dan lee

My brother and i don’t have any problems in the line. We are not trapping in the dark rides. When we are take a vacation in spring break from elementary, middle school and high schools from out state.

  11. Chris

Oh my goodness 😳…really, we were in the same situation on a recent trip, it is what it is, especially for the best attraction in EPCOT. We rode it 8 times in 10 days and our only gripe, selfishly, was the wait itself. Disney is crazy 🤪 and if you fail to plan and go in with the right mindset you will become disgruntled and peeved…that I understand.

  12. Tommy

Looks like they’re trapped in hell with the red lights. I can understand the anxiety. Very Interesting. 🤔

  13. Gives off a being trapped in He** vibe with all the red lights. I can imagine the anxiety.

    1. Kimberly

Trapped in Hell is pretty doggone accurate. 😆 I have some pretty severe claustrophobia and bad anxiety. My friend & I were trapped in this hall for a Very Long Time because the ride was shut down for an issue. I ended up having to face the wall just so I didn’t lose my mind or hyperventilate in the middle of all those strangers. 😬

  14. Disney ..WHERE CHILD PREDATORS WORK FOR THE WOKE .26 PEDOFILES ARRESTED AT DISNEY IN 2022.6 IN 2023 SO FAR SAYS USA CONGRESS…

    1. Michael Grant

Why do MAGA Cult freaks like you write such rubbish? You sound like you personally work for DeSantis and his low IQ mob

    2. Dizmom

You are full of it pal. Put your tinfoil hat back on and sit and watch FOX. Do you know what being “woke” really means? It means that we are paying attention and not just believing every lie that spews out of Trump or DeSantis.

    3. Dotti

It’s no like Disney looks for them. Some weren’t documented and some weren’t researched enough but they don’t hire them
      On purpose

  15. Robin

My friends got stuck on “its a small world” the lights were on. The soundtrack kept playing over and over.

  16. Candie

Never had any problems the times our family has been to Disney land depending on the time of year it can be wall to wall but I’ve found there are times to go that aren’t so busy. We love Disney land . It’s amazing that the time they have been around that there in that good of shape. I mean think about how many times that get used a day no less a year I say keep up the great work. Love you Disney

  17. Deb

Walt would be horrified at what Disney has become.

    1. CJ

      No he wouldn’t

  18. Lorenzo

This just another reason NOT to visit a Disney Park. Overpriced Over Crowded and simply miserable. I wonder how many people came down with a cold or other illness while being trapped. In my opinion not worth it.

  19. DanieM

This hallway was awlful, like being led into a death chamber. It kept narrowing. I even said it was like we were all cattle being led to slaughter! We had a virtual que and waited for 2 hours to ride Gaurdians of the Galaxy. Disney should do better with overcrowding but they want their $$. The ride was fun but not worth the crowding or the wait or the nerving, narrowing hot hallway!

We were at DisneyWorld last year and tired to do Haunted Mansion ride and it stopped working. When we all were in the one area I took my kids out of an emergency exit people were leaving out. I’ve got anexity myself I was not going to make my young kids go through that.
