Certainly, Turner Classic Movies must be preserved, not divided or sold off or further disposed.
Perhaps a site be developed for visitors with keen interest to preserve the TCM collection and work with distributors for film performances as well as TV “festivals.” Good luck and thank you for your work and interest in the history of Americsn Cinema!
TCM deserves to be saved and left just the way it is. Movies deserve to be seen the way they are meant to be seen , commercial free and unedited. It’ll be a shame if Warner Brothers Discovery discontinued it
Love TCM.. the best television there is.. great movies with good plots and entertainment. Please don’t mess with a good thing, Better than almost anything they make today.. the legion of followers beg you. As people grow older, it takes us back to a simpler time and place. It’s time travel to us..
I have been bedridden on and off due to ovarian cancer for the past 8 years, and TCM is what I watch to cope, escape, dream, and fall in love with life. For some of us, TCM is everything. Just watched Holiday with Grant and Hepburn last night to get my mind off the pain and sickness. It was a beautiful night as I introduced my 11 and 13 year old grandchildren to this era of films and they loved it. Please save TCM. It is so important to so many of us.
TCM is my favorite station of mine and I have ALL the premium movie channels available on my cable network . If I lose it, I will probably kill the rest of the movie channels. This channel shows the BEST of Vintage Cinema and has an important role in educating our youth of the history of not only Movies, but the History of the World,
TCM means a lot to me. It reminds me of when my mom, my sister, and I would watch some of these movies. There was no one place to see all of them. Please leave TCM ALONE!
Please do not allow TMC to be destroyed! I have watched the channel since it began. It is my favorite station. As a movie buff, not only do I get to enjoy lifetime favorites and I am constantly learning more about the film industry. I thank these three men for trying to save this gem and I sincerely hope more influential people will join you.
TCM has been a long time favorite of mine. I’m always watching the TCM on demand films. Hopefully this group will talk some sense into this person bent on destroying film history. What is wrong with these CEOs now days? It’s like they all leave their brains on the shelf before they leave home each morning.
When I was young, I went to the movies almost every day. It was a welcome escape from an alcohol fueled home. I learned this from my mother who was a film buff. We saw many foreign films together and I learned how to read subtitles, so I knew what was going on the screen. Today I’m a senior citizen and limited in my movements. I turn to TCM to relive my youth and spend my declining days happily and interestingly. Please save this treasure for future generations who will one day be in my shoes.
TCM is great movie channel, if you like old movies, musicals, I love watching that station. Unfortunately, I don’t have it anymore, I cut ties with cable tv, I just have internet. It would be nice, if they can have internet channel by itself, I would be willing to pay to have it.
TCM is my oldest friend! I have watched it since it’s inception! I thank all of those involved in keeping it on the air! I can not watch it now because of my financial circumstances, but I know it is available for all of the youth coming up who need to see these movies as they were made, pure and uncut! Thank you all and God bless!

Perhaps the movie giants should band together and purchase TCM from this madman, who seems intent on destroying one of the great movie companies.

Just more corporate villainy by douches who think the almighty dollar is the holy grail in this world.

I love TCM I can’t get enough of it! It’s so nice to get away from game shows and reality shows and watch a couple older movies.

Please, do not destroy TCM. We do not need more “reality” tv, but we truly must preserve these classic old films. TCM is the best!
