A Christian boycott will push a movie into the stratosphere! Nothing spells success like rebellion to a protest!

    1. Heather

Try telling that to Bud Light….

      1. Ashley

Bud who? Are they STILL a company?

  2. Cyndi

Protesting this and any other show is ridiculous. You have parental controls on your television, use them!

    1. Ashley

Are you kidding me right now? Do you have any idea how smart children are these days? Parental controls mean NOTHING! If disney would get their freakin act together and do what Walt actually stood for, instead of this crap right here, we wouldn’t have to worry about it! This is INSANE! Walt is probably turning over in his grave with all this mess that they are doing under his name!

        Ashley, I’m with you

    2. Ashley

There’s safeties on guns too….but that’s also none of my business

      1. Jan

Ashley, I’m with you on this, too.

Did everyone forget about the 60s movie – Rosemary’s Baby. Another Devil based baby movie.

    1. Dan F.

I don’t recall there being such a big fuss over Rosemary’s Baby back in the 70’s, either the book or the movie. But then a lot has changed in 50 years. Now the “second coming” is just hours away !! I firmly believe that every time some preacher says the end is near, the Lord pushes back another year. The joke is on us !

Not a Disney themed movie. Come on Disney, get it together. Bring back the magic Disney was once known and loved for.

    1. Ashley

      Amen!

  5. Pat

NOT appropriate for Disney theme. Please keep it clean and acceptable for impressionable children. Even for an adult, this is acceptable at Disney!!!!! Please don’t destroy this wonderfully good feelings at Disney. People have shown their dislike for movies like Buzz that push abnormal themes.

  6. OMG, it’s a cartoon people. LIGHTEN UP!

    1. Chris

      No it isn’t

    2. Ashley

A cartoon by DISNEY! Which is aimed toward children! You people are unreal!

  7. Julian

Would you complain if it were on Netflix? Disney have said its for adults, if you don’t like it don’t watch it.

    1. Ashley

DISNEY is for children. I guess you’re ok with the woke nonsense that goes on with disney too then right?

      1. You certainly whine a lot, Ashley

        1. Theheck87

you’re certainly fine with trans kids

  8. Laura

Personally? Anything so-called ‘Christians’ boycot, I wanna support

  9. Athena

Just so I understand, an unmarried teenager is impregnated by a spirit—and Christians have a problem with that?

What is the need for this ? Really. Do you think young children will never see this. Parents having the TV supervise their children while they chat on their phones. Maybe see it at someone else’s home. There are other places adults can see this stuff. Not needed on Disney+.

Such a silly uproar over fictional content, but I guess we shouldn’t be surprised because it’s par for the course. A contingent of uptight Christians complain when alternative lifestyles are “shoved down their throats” but when skywriting spells out JESUS IS LOVE over Disney World, they say “If you don’t like it, don’t look.” It’s hypocrisy 101. Christians don’t seem to mind the fact that Jesus was the result of a nonconsensual impregnation. Calling it an “immaculate conception” just sugarcoats it with prettier-sounding words. God has never condemned rape or sexual assault of any kind, which explains why “Thou shalt not rape” and “Thou shalt not fondle altar boys” aren’t included in the Ten Commandments, because God cares a lot more about coveting. So let it be written, so let it be done!

Alternative life style??? Satan and a teenage girl?

Been a fan of Disney for decades and was a bit taken aback by the description of this movie (Satan impregnating a Christian woman) BUT I’m smart enough to know to NOT judge a movie by its very short overview…..and to give this one a chance.

Disney Netflix phone chatter everywhere. The world is going to be judged and regardless of your intent the Bible says ” But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believes in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a Large Milestone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Matthew 18:6

    1. Dodger

Fascinating thing about this verse from the book of Matthew: It’s expressed as an opinion, not a promise or threat. The speaker is indicating what he thinks should happen to someone who disrupts or hinders the practices of a devoted follower, but is not indicating what God would do to punish such a person. It also doesn’t endorse those who do good in the world; it simply endorses loyal followers, so it’s an opinion rooted in vanity. We also know from Old Testament stories like the Noah’s Ark fable that God is not truly all-powerful anyway, because he needed a human’s help with his plan. You’d think an all-powerful deity could pick and choose who he wants to selectively smite, but apparently not. God could only send the crappy weather and then give the people he likes a heads-up to fend for themselves. That’s some lazy smiting right there.

      1. Ashley

Blasphemy at its finest! Sounds to me like you need Jesus my friend.

        1. Karo

Ashley, they know NOTHING about the Bible. Sad. Sad. But to be honest, I usually don’t
Comment on here because my comment will not change this man’s mind. I can pray but he will most likely never see the light. The older I get the more I understand the narrow and wide paths the Bible speaks of . God bless, my sister.

    Canceled

  15. faackanders2

I am positive they would release it on Hulu not Disney+. Besides it is all fiction!

    1. Ashley

So is a female trying to be a male and vice versa. But that’s not my business.

I find it most difficult to understand the denial of the ‘live and let live’ crowd. Leaving control in the hands of the parents invites childrens’ groups to come down on the parents for ‘abuse’. Proffered that children ate aware of what’s going on in the world doesn’t mean that they have the maturity or understanding to deal with influences such as the spiritual – especially the multi-themed program, Pauline.
Such personalities as Dr. Stan Monteith, Bill Cooper, and Chuck Harder were warning about the shady background of Disney and the subtle influences in much of their programming.
In the decades since then, the near innocence of the Wonderful World of Disney has been all-but replaced by a very-well crafted product with appearance to draw the youth in to watch, and content to corrupt them.
My fellow good people of conscience, don’t even approach the tree of poison fruit tha Disney has become. Cancel your subscriptions, don’t buy any overpriced product, and most certainly find alternatives to Disney for your children to watch.

  17. JJ

This is so far away from decency that Disney has tanked their traditional audience. If there was a spoof on the Muslim or Islam religions, or Buddhism, they would never have released it. Subscription canceled and sadly so. My kids grew up on Disney. It’s all over now.

  18. Me

I think the problem here is that it is touted as a Disney cartoon. There are as many morally questionable movies out there as thee are people to watch them. If that is your thing go for it… but please leave our. Children out of it. We shouldn’t have to worry about children watching a Disney cartoon. Seriously? Just WHY?

  19. Joseph Garren

Nice title stating “RIOT”. Apparently trying to gaslight people with this title. Huge difference between rioting and protesting.
