Disney adults dont make any money for the company. A grown person will walk past novelty shops and carts bc they dont need a light up Mackey bubble maker or whatever..but to make memories with a kid you buy it in hopes they remember the magical experience.

Agree with the comment ” Disney adults dont make any money for the company”-Don

A perfect example to support the comment is the group that used to be known as the Flower Power Group. They did nothing else but attend the Flower Power concerts, now Garden Rocks, and pretty sure Eat to the Beat concerts at Epcot.

These group(s) would line up early for the concerts, run to the first few front rows and take all the seats. They did not purchase food, drink, nor souveneirs….They do not stay at the resorts.

The families yes, are more likely to spend more on merchandise, than Disney adults, especially families with children, as seen by Dinsey, are more profitable.

Unfortunately it has to do with a lot, not all.of the APs,(annual pass holders) who just come into the parks for the special event/concert, and nothing else.

Prior to the name Disney Adults, they went by other names over the past years, some were Pin Sharks, some were called Disney Hogs, some were called Disney Nuts, Disney Fanatics, Disneyanains.. The names evolved over the years.

To quote Woody from Toy Story 1, ” Zealots”…

Yes Disney was meant to be and should be for everyone. Do some adults take it to far yes, they do.

Whatever floats your boat, to make you happy…but in your happiness, dont ruin it for others.
