Did they mess up by killing her? No. But they did it too soon. In No Way Home, Aunt May is a vital character for a good portion of the movie. We see just how important that relationship is to Peter, and exactly how she grounds him when he needs it most. We get to really see what he’s lost.

Fury is clearly more upset at losing his right hand agent than he’s ever been. He knows that losing people is part of the job. Yet when it’s Hill who takes the bullet, he’s in full a breakdown, barely able to keep himself together enough to get out of there. He valued her more than we can ever know, and we didn’t get a chance to experience why.

I went into this series fully prepared that some might not come out the other side. And Hill was on that list, so it wasn’t a shock. But I wish she could have been more involved in the series before it happened. First to give the character the exposure she deserves, but also to allow Colbie Smulders the chance to bring this character home, as Tormei did so brilliantly, before it happened.

I didn’t even know that it was already on. 🤦🏿‍♂️ He’s to show you just how much I have fallen back from Marvels endless movies and series.

  2. She gets it.They(Comics) kill off characters like soaps do ,but a reminder, they also never stay dead. Collsin for Shield ,the perfect example. Marvel has been doing this for some time real fans need to remember this.

She’ll be back, either as an LMD or as herself, with the dead Maria being revealed as a Skrull.

  3. Yes!!! You guys have brilliant minds but you screw this one up royally.
You can’t kill everybody. It has to be a familiar face somewhere in the bunch. Bring her back!!!!
