“Doctor Doom might be one of Marvel’s best villains, but he’s insignificant next to the power of the Devourer of Worlds. Even the likes of the Mad Titan Thanos are dwarfed next to a colossal, galaxy-eating space god, and that’s exactly why Marvel fans won’t be seeing him or the Fantastic Four any time soon.”
Which is when and why motivation matters. Galactus is motivated by raw hunger and nothing else. He has no morality, no principles. He just seeks food so while he has celestial level powers he’s not the same kind of Threat as a Thanos when Thanos has one or more of the infinity stones. Yes the F4 could stop Galactus but not in teh same way they’d deal with Thanos so Galactus’s not showing up yet has less to do with how to deal with him then the technical difficulties of bringing a being like him into the film. They’d have to do it like how the celestial was done in the ETERNALS film. They could even do it ground based if they scale back/down Galactus’s size. What they have to avoid is the mistake of how Galctus was handled in teh 2nd F4 movie from Fox; that was bad, REAL BAD. The Silver Surfer was done well but Galtctus was done entirely wrong.
