My wife and I both need to use scooters when at anywhere that would require much standing and/or walking. When we’re in line at an attraction, we have our scooters side-by-side. This makes it, in most instances, almost impossible for a line cutter to get past us.

What a stupid question about experiencing line cutting. I have experienced line cutting every time I have went to Disney. Yes I did say something. There are people that don’t care. To add to this, I have also seen streamers cut the line. Nope I don’t care how big they are, I won’t watch them anymore.

Fantasmic was changed to make it more woke.

I mean….this sounds weird. Did the person leave the line to use the restroom? Grab a drink? Why was their entire group up there except them? In those cases, where I’ve seen the person leave the line for a couple of mins (5 mins or so), that’s fine. If they just showed up at the park and want to meet with their friends, then no. Not happening.

It happens every time we go. I have never challenged anyone. Usually it’s just one person who maybe have had to use the restroom. When the situation was reversed, I will stand at the entrance to the line and let everyone pass by. There is no way I would move up in line a have my husband have to walk passed all the people who have been waiting in the heat and humidity. No Way!

Having a parent in front waiting for the other and a child or two is reasonable, but when it’s four, five or six adults and kids, yes that’s a bit disheartening. How many times have any of you stood in line for 40 minutes only to be next in line at the cutoff point only to wait longer..Lol!!
So yes, like most things in life there is good and bad. Glad it’s being addressed though.

This is the problem. One parent goes to the line waits and calls the other parent with child. This is line cutting. You should all enter the line at the same time and keep your party together.

It would seem that every time I visit any of the theme parks the line cutting issue is a problem….especially if large groups are present…..I like the idea of them finally doing something about it

This happened to us at Splash Mountain before it was closed. We had been waiting in line for 45+ minutes when the 2 people in front of us had a huge family that came and joined them in line. They ended up with 12 people cutting in front of everyone. I stepped up and said something to a cast member as she was letting more people join them and told her they had already let 8 additional people in line and now they are bringing in 4 more
It was just wrong. One or two people I don’t say anything, I get it people go to the restroom, etc., but they were letting their whole family in line after we had all been standing there for close to an hour, and we weren’t inside the building yet. The cast member offered to put us up front and I told her no, they needed to go to the end of the line where everyone else started. I wasn’t looking to be moved ahead, I just didn’t appreciate them allowing 12 additional people to cut in front of the 100+ people waiting their turn. All but the original two ended up getting out of line. I guess from all of the glares from the people around them.

I would be more than gracious to allow a party past me to join their missing member… at the back of the line. Get yourself together people!!

Disney will not seat anyone for a dining reservation until all party members are present. This should apply to attractions as well. If your entire party is not with you, don’t enter the line until they are. Your party will not be able to “catch up” to you.
