Disney should not have taken a side on the “Don’t say gay bill”. You can have an opinion, if you know all the facts, but, as a corporation, you should never voice your company’s views on social issues. You will always alienate some and you will be always be beholding to the view that you support. Disney, as a corporation, is beholding to it’s shareholders not voices demanding you stand for them. They are in the entertainment business and for the sake of their bottom line, Disney, and other companies need to be neutral on social issues. We look to Disney for magic, not social justice or injustice.

Dont Blame Chapek. He did not want to say anything about The Parental Rights in Education Act (HB 1557) – [Lets call it by it actual name, not the name that the extremists have given it] but the Disney Board of Directors forced him to say something. Had the Board of Directors kept the power trip to themselves, Disney would not be in this position today. I sure hope that they are proud of themselves for costing the company multi Millions of dollars to satifiy a couple hundred employees.

I agree Chapek is to blame. Disney needs to stay out of politics and focus on entertainment as they have since Walt began the company. There is so much magic there and it is special. There is such a great legacy and great movies, etc. from over the years. Take a page from universal another theme parks that have stayed away from all the politics and stuck to what they do best…entertainment for families!

Since when is it ok for a Governor to retaliate agaisnt anyone that doesn’t agree with
laws that are brought up for legislation? Last time I checked we have free speech in America
    free from retaliation.

There’s an old parlimentary procedure rule: Majority rules, but minority has its rights.
In this case, Disney (and the country) is bending over backward to appease 7% of the population. And (follow the science) there is no genetic basis for the LGBTalphabet folks !!! Its all in the head.
Another point: Splash Mountain has been taken down, but 65%+ of the population had NOTHING to do with slavery. We are all the result of folks that arrived via (legal) immigration AFTER 1862 !!!
The democraps keep pushing but if you look at the stats, the people who support them are WORSE OFF than they were in 1964 !
People need to start reading, studying, and see the real facts, not what a few power hungry “leaders” are selling !.
