I was on Indy last night and my seat belt was black with the yellow pull tabs. But maybe they haven’t changed them all yet. I can see how that would take a while if they have to open up machinery for each one. They would surely need more than the 8 hours during which Disneyland is closed, if only one or a few people are doing this.
Another time I was seated on a right side end seat. Cast member was on the left checking seat belts. It was dark and probably hard to see. My yellow tabs were squished between me and the passenger seat wall to my right, making it hard to see.
They always ask you to pull the yellow piece of fabric to make sure you’re locked in and they do this on a couple of rides including radiator Springs in cars land and I never understood why they don’t just make the seat belts yellow or orange so they don’t have to sit there and use their flashlight to look for the hotel? If they could just easily see the entire seatbelt is orange or yellow when it stands out they wouldn’t need a flashlight they can clearly see that you have your seatbelt on.

Whatever it takes to make rides safe. Too many guests are climbing out of rides.

Actually Indy was first. They copied Indy’s track for Dinosaur, not the other way round.
