I believe its the parents jobs to talk to their children when they ask questions. Its not the schools job. Children should only be given short answers that will satisfy them . Desantis is protecting children from people that want them to learn things too adult for them to understand

A friend came back from WDW after a late spring break visit when the crowds were down. Their 14 y.o. son and 12 y.o. daughter were constantly “oogled and flirted with” at Magic Kingdom. They left MK as soon as they could (2:00 PM) and didn’t go back. They were VERY uncomfortable !!!! They told me the gay displays were constant….they felt like they were in a stage show.
It saddens me to see that the dollar bills be more to them than human beings at the end of time we are still human we still bleed the same blood how can you run this for your family I’m 59 going to be 60 and I’ve never had the pleasure of going there it was on my bucket list I wanted to see the teacups since I was a little girl and watch Disney every every Sunday I’m missing things like that he ought to be ashamed of yourselves now it just shows me you don’t care about nobody but that green dollar bill it ain’t going to buy you into heaven and it ain’t going to buy you into hell that you’re the ones got to answer to God not me

The only problem I have is it being shoved at me at every corner……I have no problem with gays, lesbians , straights or transgenders working at DW. All cast members have been very kind to us.
Our company canceled our convention in Florida and axed all of our hotel, dining, and Disney World plans. We believe in equality. 214 of us would have easily spent over $700,000 as a grossly conservative estimate. We are actively rescheduling everything to the Anaheim resort area. Meatball Ron wins again!
Beyond all of that, why spend money in a state where people hate you? Don’t support the people or the politics of hate. Speak with your money, and organize people online to join in boycotting Florida and anywhere else you’re disrespected.
It took us months to cancel and reschedule our entire company’s plans and itinerary that were scheduled, and mostly reserved, by January 2023. It was a huge headache and we still haven’t tied up the loose ends, but as a whole, we decided to to support Florida in any way. Florida was supposed to be THE place every other year starting in 2023. Now it will be California and Las Vegas alternating, and getting all of our business. Vote with your money and organize others. That’s the best advice I can give you.
