I just read an article about the director officially replacing Johnny. I highly doubt he will reprise his role as Jack Sparrow. He has said he was not because of how they treated him during his divorce. They believed the ex-wife over him.

Disney needs to not only bring him back, they also need to go back to the original team who brought is POTC 1 – no sci fi monsters, no shark headed pirates. First off, Johnny Depp is one of the most decorative and most iconic actors in movie history. Despite the claims against him by his ex (Amber Heard). I believe the actions taken against by Disney without giving him the chance to prove his innocence left a sour taste in my mouth by what Disney did to him. Call old fashioned but I still believe in you are innocent until proven guilty. Well we now know how his defamation case against his ex turned out to be… innocent! Looking past that now. When I watch movies like Pirates of the Caribbean. Please don´t replace Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. He´s such a fantastic actor and (by now) is the only actor that can be Jack Sparrow. replacing him would be an extreemly bad idea. He´s Captian Jack. No one else can do it.

First off, Johnny Depp is one of the most decorative and most iconic actors in movie history. Despite the claims against him by his ex (Amber Heard). I believe the actions taken against by Disney without giving him the chance to prove his innocence left a sour taste in my mouth by what Disney did to him. Call old fashioned but I still believe in you are innocent until proven guilty. Well we now know how his defamation case against his ex turned out to be… innocent! Looking past that now. When I watch movies like Pirates of the Caribbean. I think of Johnny Depp the same way, when I think of Harrison Ford with Indiana Jones or Keanu Reeves with Bill and Ted or the Matrix and even John Wick. I’m sorry Disney. I have a list that goes on but not having Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean is a waste of money and most likely will bomb in the box office. Disney either needs to beg to have Johnny Depp come back to reprise his role as Jack Sparrow or just squash the project all together. I know I alone can’t stop them but I believe I speak for many. Disney you are rolling the dice on this project and it doesn’t look good in your favor. Just saying!

I will never watch another Pirates of the Caribbean movie if Johnny Depp is not in it .Nobody else could ever pull off the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. I understand where Johnny is coming from on this whole thing. If they had supported him the way Dior did and still is he may have stayed and those movies may have already become a reality. It’s really Johnny’s call at this point. I am just as disappointed as everyone else is in Johnny’s decision to walk away but I am even more disappointed in how Johnny was treated by Disney and Hollywood and I agree with him, bridges were burned that shouldn’t have been. I secretly hope that someday somebody can talk him into coming back but I think he has already moved on and I think he is happy where he is now. My heart is and always will be with Johnny. In the end, I will accept his decision even if I don’t agree with it.
