  1. Don’t make this a movie. It’s better in comics and animation.

    1. Jonathan Baldridge

Bruce Wayne is the only true Batman. The movie audience doesn’t care about Batman Beyond. The DC live-action movies have been a mess. Doing something like this would only serve to further confuse casual audience members and sink the box office earnings even more.

And who are you to speak for everyone else? I love Batman Beyond and I know lots of others who feel the same way. We would all love to see a Batman Beyond movie as long as its done right. Bet it would be way better than much of the garbage that WB has been putting out.

      2. Jerry Oliver

        Nah, it’d be awesome.

      3. Nathan King

This is actually one of those ones I’d hope for more. You want to tell this is going to be more of a stretch than sherlock batman, eldritch batman. And batman ninja or just worse than that batman and harley fan ship flick?

  2. Maccy

Not a chance Warner Bros will make a Batman Beyond movie as the casual movie goer only knows Bruce Wayne as Batman. Batman Beyond is very much a niche product, not even the entirety of the Batman comic book fans read Batman Beyond.

Guardians of the galaxy was hardly known by anyone and look at how awesome the movies have been and how much money they have made. It doesn’t matter if its a hardly known character as long as the movie is done right. Aquaman has been considered the laughing stock of DC superheroes for ages. What did his awesome well done movie do? Prove that he could make more money than legends like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.

Gotham was meant to be an opportunity for them to do a series with batman, but they couldn’t help themselves from turning it into Batman Jr.

James Gunn and Peter Safran are destroying the DCU.

      1. Kilohmada

Unlike Zack Snyder or Andy muschietti, James gunn actually understands comic books and has a passion for them. Plus he’s a fantastic filmmaker. He’s the best one for the job!

Boooo, does the WB blame the failure of “The Flash” movie on Michael Keaton? Michael Keaton’s return as Batman in the Flash is making it extraordinary hard for me to boycott that movie. I would love to see his return

    1. Linda Drennan

I would love to see Michael Keaton in Batman Beyond.
      He deserves it.
      He carried the Flash Movie.
DC should honor promises made to him.

  5. Steve Driskell

    I feel the same way.

    1. Ad

Exactly, his return was one of the reasons to see this movie at all, probably even my main reason.
So to blame the less than stella box office result on him is utter BS, and they know it.

      1. Ad

What’s even worse. They think about re- casting Supergirl AGAIN!

Sure why not, she was introduced like half a movie ago.

What are these people thinking i wonder.

I actually really enjoyed seeing Michael Keaton reprise his role as Batman in The Flash. I’ve also wanted a live-action Batman Beyond movie since it appeared decades ago. Now, it actually makes more sense. Not only are modern CGI and special effects of the highest quality they have ever been, but Keaton is the perfect fit for that role. Keaton is not only the right age for that role now, but Batman the animated series was originally modeled after his Batman character (even his batmobile). The Batman animated series Bruce Wayne, is the same aged one in the Batman Beyond series. As much as I would’ve loved to see a Batman Beyond live-action film before now, I’m actually glad it hadn’t happened yet because I dont feel like the special effects could have done it justice, due to the futuristic nature of it all. Now, is the time though. We could get an aged Keaton before he passes away and special effects that would have the chance at doing it justice.

    1. Rosa Hockenberry

I specifically went to watch the Flash movie because of Michael Keaton… Ezra Miller is not Flash material nor is he a good actor. It’s a big mistake not to showcase Michael Keaton as Batman as he is the only one to pull it off!

    2. Shane

I would love to see a Live Action movie or TV series of Batman Beyond. I believe a TV series would be better there’s just so many nuanced relationships in the show to be portrayed properly in a movie.

I love Michael Keaton’s Batman I do…But I would rather see Christopher Nolan come back with a haggard, broken weary Christian Bale Batman myself for a mentor Bruce Wayne.

  7. I cannot STAND gunn. He ruins everything. I was so excited too have Michael Keaton back. Gunn is a jerk. I have a better word for him. Much more colorful, but I’d like my comment posted.

    1. Robert Rogers

He didn’t ruin Guardians of the galaxy.he made it better.

      1. Tankapotamus

No, he didn’t. They were mediocre at best and got worse with each sequel.

  8. Elizabeth

Huge mistake. Keaton is the perfect choice to carry that project. What a slap in the face to an actor who is carrying the flash. Without him, no one would have watched this movie.

  9. Angel

I cannot STAND gunn. He ruins EVERYTHING. Michael Keaton would be so amazing! What a schmuck 🙄

    1. Tankapotamus

Yeah, I don’t know what they were thinking making him head of DC! It’s going to be hilarious watching him blow this amazing opportunity. A bit sad, but funny non the less.

  10. Ryu

They should have led with the live action Batman beyond. Although I have no doubt that would have badly screwed that up. And dropping Keaton? Yeah I don’t believe it The failure of the Flash was not on him.

  11. Michal Keaton is perfect for the Batman Beyond movie as retiring Brice Wayne. Please don’t blame Keaton for the failure of the Flash movie. That falls squarely on the shoulders of Warner bros + Ezra Miller no one else. Please continue with the long overdue Batman Beyond movie, this is the perfect time for this generational shift. Also keep Michael Keaton, don’t screw this opportunity up please. Do it!

  12. Jessie

I will love to see a Batman beyond series where they left off with Tim Burton in his Batman 3 Marlon Wayne was going to be the first black-American to play Robin… Since he’s an adult he should play Batman beyond with Michael Keaton is Batman……
