I think it’s a great idea to market more to adults. I still have too many friends who think there’s nothing there for adults and it’s all kiddie stuff. However, I DON’T want to see it turned into a place focused on drinking. I had a bad experience at Epcot with “drinking around the world” group that should never be repeated ANYWHERE. If you are so narrow-minded that you have to drink to have fun – or harass other guests – to make your trip worthwhile, don’t go to Disney. I can find that at my neighborhood bar much less expensively.
I have read again that DisneyWorld is “banning” non-childless adults from entering the parks on weekends and other times – I cancelled our vacation to DW and Hotel for this year as the cost has become prohibitive — Let the adults with 1-4 kids who will learn NO Drinks allowed into the Parks, unless they are staying on Disney property, will be allowed! Let’s see if they can cover for the losses of Disney Kids of the 1950-70’s who like returning for memories – sadly tearing down key parts of WDW also helped us decide to improve our local economy! Way to drive away older adults – I also cancelled Disney+ too – Enjoy the skeleton of WDW!
