This has got to be an awful situation for guests. Especially those who travel from far away for a once in lifetime experience. For those local in Paris who can just take the train back and reschedule, this is no big deal, but a refund wouldn’t be enough to make up for lost experiences that can’t be made up. I hope this gets resolved quickly.

The whole history of Disney employees at Disneyland has been difficult since the opening. A lot of striking going on in z France this year. The young people there have a real movement going on there. Their eyes are wide open.

This June 19 or July 4 black, white, red, brown, yellow, high yellow, or maybe you are the color of a smurf,no matter , WE SHOULD ALL GIVE THANKS THE UNION WON AND NO FREE LABOR.

Unions have become the thing they were designed to protect against…

It’s sad to say, but this just goes to show that Disney isn’t good anymore. They care more about making money and ruining their Classics than their workers and guests. I think that it’s safe to say that Walt would be ashamed of his company has turned into, a greedy money hungry giant that always has to be on top. I use to love Disney, but not anymore.

You think that Disney should automatically give strikers all that they are demanding. Walt would laugh you out of his office

I am right there with you

I have not ventured into the Magic Kingdom in more than 35 plus years and I worked at the Orlando WDW from 1978 to 1979.

Walt and Roy Disney would be rolling in their graves if they could see how WDW corporations has changed for the worse.

Greed has taken over as well as a loss of moral character.

You don’t even know what their demands are so how does this show anything??

  4. Maybe Disney should close in all the other countries I’m sure it wasn’t what Walt visioned he wanted happiness and a place you could bring your children to forget about all the everyday stress of political power meatheads ! I’ve been going to Disney World for 30years multiple times everyweek ! I don’t care if I get on rides it’s just the walk around for exercise and people watch and have a relaxing afternoon. I don’t care if your black, white ,green,or blue and I don’t care if your gay or not , AND i don’t care what your political views are when you come through that gate I lave all that nonsense behind. So DeSantis go away you little ego maniac who is only behind a big scheme to get Disney land for his power seeking donors that’s what this is all about don’t let him disguise this as something else Luke he is doing.

American cast members could learn from them.

  8. I wonder what would happen if Disney countered with an advertisement campaign that said something like: if disney agrees to union demands then your ticket prices would need to increase by XXX euros.

Or you know they just don’t have to raise costs it’s almost like Disney makes so much money that like it would hurt profit but not to the extent that it would hurt Disney in any tangible way.

      1. Backcountry164

Disney makes so much money that they’re pulling their own shows from thier own streaming service just to cut costs…
