I reckon Marvel had a strategy, and that Disney-exec fear is trampling all over it. From my reading, rather like the diversity of the Marvel Comics, the Phase 4 and after was all about increasing diversity in every direction – production, themes, forms, audience-appeal. So the series and films went into different genres, of family-friendly, thriller, space pirates, supernatural, comedies etc. Unfortunately, many people do not like change, and wanted a sameness, when really, the MCU had to expand to the Marvel range. With hindsight they could have perhaps slowed down, and made more of earthly street-level superhero stuff to pace the audience. There was no need to go to the multiverse and bigger-yet villains, with so many decades of story-telling available.

Does anyone really care about a series called Echoe? I honestly don’t. Loki and Wandavision were very well received. They should concentrate on those characters. I am of course waiting for secret invasion and Harkness.

Seems that unbridled capitalism has shown up yet again…

It just changed its name to Agatha Coven of Chaos. It has not been cancelled.

Why would they need to hype up Loki? People already want to watch it. New shows need the hype so people will give them a try. It’s not brain science.

At this point, the only MCU project I’m excited about is Loki season 2. Season 1 was one of my absolute faves. GOTG3 was great but everything else has been sorely lacking lately.
