A group of people, including adults and children, are engaged in interactive experiences aboard what appears to be the DVC galactic starcruiser. They’re looking out large windows at a space battle with distant explosions, planets, and spacecraft. The scene is illuminated with blue lighting.

Not suprised at all I hope Disney learns from this and offers more affordable options for families we bought six flags and Knotts passes I get my theme park fix elsewhere now it’s just gotten too unaffordable. Maybe bankruptcy? Might help to get rid of their debt

Even the Mouse Mansion can make mistakes. But it happens with its own money, not what Florida’s government can claim. (Not just the governor but the legislature as well. When someone asks who is responsible for all this, be sure to include the state’s senators and representatives in the answer.)

    Let it burn!!

Lower the prices and people would be more inclined to stay there. You don’t necessarily have to shut it down. It was way too expensive from the start.

We booked for October 9th. Didn’t get any call nothing been on hold for over an hour to rebook, my husband is a die hard Disney fan and I must go before the last voyage 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

  6. It didn’t have enough real activities. A pool deck with hot tubs may have helped. Rotational dining, kids activity centers, and adults only lounges and dining may have helped. Disney got greedy. Threw together a space motel 6 and charged more than an actual cruise on the Wish. Recipe for disaster. Disney’s greed is excluding their customers!

This isn’t a surprise, it should have been more of a Star Wars themed hotel, not that many people what to go to one hotel for a couple of nights and then move. Yes, there are some, but not many and most of Disney World’s guests are not locals, they tend to stay for around a week or more at a time.

With the right pricing and setup, it could have worked well on the west coast where the majority are locals that would come for just a couple of days. But they would also have to have the overall story line change frequently as well.

Disney has a lot in common with Bud Light. Neither ever admit a huge mistake.

Instead of closing it down and having all that waste and financial loss, just drop the price way…way…way down.

I would have gone in a heartbeat but the price was way out of my reach,Lower the price for the not so Rich and maybe it could be saved, Us regular folks have to save for years just to have 1 week in Disney but to have to stay there a couple of days would be like saving for 4 regular weeks, not happening

There were so many things done wrong with this hotel, including the price. But for that kind of money to transport you to Galaxy’s Edge via a box truck was nothing but an insult to everyone.
