I use to go twice a year before covid now with the way prices are I can’t even afford to go even once let alone take grandkids.so now I take them to Knotts it’s affordable .

Just before the pandemic, my family booked a two bedroom suite at a Disney hotel in Anaheim. The door to our suite didn’t latch, let alone lock. It was reported but not immediately fixed. During the night someone walked into one of the.bedrooms, which scared my brother, who saw them. They walked out of the suite. We reported to the hotel and were told that there are no cameras in the halls and basically they said we were lying. Now, we saved a long time for this trip and I was very upset. Their customer service has gone to hell and the magic is gone for me!

Yah so? No one is forcing you to go. It’s a luxury not a entitlement

Disney should treat WDW like a cash cow, and expand in CA and other states where they are welcomed.

I agree with Ray. Contrary to what many comments on line have been saying for a very long time, Disneyland is not an entitlement. Everything in the world is more expensive now than in the past: It’s called inflation. I have an annual pass and am fortunate enough to be able to go about six times per year. If I were short on cash this luxury would have to be the first to go because it is just that: a luxury. Some people spend a fortune on snow skiing; others on golfing; others on international travel. I choose to do my splurge on Disneyland. There are ways to go cheaper: get a cheaper hotel; take you lunch into the parks; get there first thing in the morning and take a break when it’s busy and don’t buy the line skipper. It’s a great place to go, and if you don’t like it, don’t go and don’t grumble about it.

  6. Great advice!
Disneyland is a not a taxpayer entitlement!
Bring your own water and lunch 🥙 don’t buy miscellaneous treats!

Did we, the Disney loving Americans, have a problem with Disney before that traitor in Florida got one???? Disney forever!!!! Down with Ron Ron DaSandtoes….

Woke Disney is a joke. Everything is made in China. Prices are idiotic. Disney embraces anti-american values at this point.

DeSantis has the right idea. Those of you embracing the cash grab are fools.

What does “woke” mean exactly? I’ve yet to see a viable definition, it’s my experience that people who use the word have no idea what they are talking about.

Disney is NEVER going to lower their prices because people keep flocking to the parks. If your that stupid, STOP complaining about prices and just don’t patronize Disney any longer. Watch what they do with the prices then. Wake Up People!!!!

  9. I do have a season pass but only go like 3 times a year. I do however refuse to pay for Genie + and lighting lane stuff. If I don’t feel like waiting online I just go do something else. I still like Disney but there is definitely a different vibe now.

YvonneNC is right on. We only go to Disneyland every year or 2 and haven’t been since October of 2019. I’d gladly pay more if it would reduce the crowd levels. Disney is like any other destination. It is expensive to travel anywhere. Pick a place you can afford and stay away from the places you can’t. If that includes Disney Parks, so be it.

Nothing new. They used to be super cheap to enter the park with mostly +paid ticketed rides, like e-tickets for the good ones.
It went to all rides included and free fast pass for a while, before the dark times, before the empire.
Looking like it’s headed back to the old original system where the gate fee just gets you through the gate, then everything will be up charged if you want to go on rides and have fun.
You can be a baller and have fun and pay to cut in front of kids waiting inline inthe sun, or you can just pay the gate fee and pack a picnic and use it like a regular park.
Its all the Chinese business strategy from corporate disney.

  12. Woke. The term has very different connotations and meanings depending on your view. Woke is a term that generally refers to awareness of issues related to racism, discrimination and social justice, and support of policies or cultural changes to address purported injustices and institute more social equity or equality.

  13. I went to disney world. It was way overpriced, long line and too many people. Never again. What magic?

I used to love going to Disneyland once a year. Now I don’t believe I will ever return. In years past Disneyland WAS great. That greatness is long since dead.
