  1. They aren’t “distancing” themselves from Kermit. They’re simply broadening the franchise by showcasing more characters, MCU style.

Get rid of the voice actor not the franchise puppet to do that is surely have Jim Henson turning over in his grave.

  2. MD

Kermit is literally the icon they used for brand identification on the Instagram image that you posted.

    1. Steve

They need to work things out with Whitmire. If he truly is a problem child he should remember, “No man is an island.”

  3. JoeBryant

Anyone up for some frog legs and ham hocks? 🤣

  4. Gary P

    Much ado about nothing

  5. Doomslayer

This series is about Dr Teeth and the Electric Meyhem. Why would it feature Kermit?

    1. Lisa Bailey

As if Mickey is in every Disney production. This new series is not anti-Kermit or anti-Vogel, who will play a brilliant Floyd Pepper. It’s just a focus on a muppet microcosm.

  6. A Fan

How about using the singer from Canned Heat as the voice of Kermit?

  7. Juan Pablo

I think you’re overthinking this. Kermit may not show up in promos, but neither does Fozzie, Piggy, Gonzo, the Swedish Chef… I’m pretty sure EM were the only Muppets to appear in that trailer.

    1. Mr Beefy

God help them if they get rid of the Swedish Chef!
