As an AP Holder, I, wholeheartedly agree with this article and the behavior of many passholders. Don’t spoil it for the folks who have never been here before. there is always someone in every preshow that asked to be the center of attention to get that laugh from everybody, but what they’re really doing is being obnoxious and ruining it for first-time guests. Don’t be a “passhole.”

Screw this As an AP I am ick and tired of the millions of dam tourists that come here while the country is in such bad shape and they act like they are spoiled rich spoiled brats. Disney caters to you for everything because you stay in their resorts so therefore you are all considered PRIVILEGED BRATS and you are the only one in the parks with your huge strollers screaming kids and money flaunting ways. GO HOME go vacation somewhere else! We are sick and tired of your lightning lane your huge crowds screaming kids and your obnoxious attitudes your complaints you fights and your rudeness. You take the magic away from the parks you hog the attention and enough! Stay away

So let me get this straight…. you pay about $5 a day to go into the parks. You get 20% off merch and dining. You are complaining about tourists who in effect are subsidizing your visit. Not all tourists are filthy rich and in fact save for a few years for a trip. Oh and let’s not forget those who are staying at resorts, buying meals and merch are also paying taxes to support the locals. Don’t worry, I won’t be back at Disney after my last visit. It was a huge waste of my money. Be careful what you wish for because I doubt that the locals will support Disney all by themselves.

Precisely. Does Doris really think that WDW has enough locals to keep the park full? WDW isn’t DL. In California, there are close to enough locals to fill the park every day, especially if you add in people like me – AZ residents with APs. WDW was built specifically with the idea to attract tourists, both US and international. And I’m fairly sure that FL residents welcome them, or at least welcome the money they spend! Doris, you pay no state income tax, largely because of WDW and Universal. Tourist money does that.
Also, it’s been my experience that the people with the huge strollers are locals. People who fly in don’t bring their SUV-sized monstrosities on the plane. It’s all y’all locals who drag the oversized nightmare mini-cars and not-actually-allowed wagons into the parks.
And while we’re at it, let’s also address the other local issue: AP holders like Doris who max out their credit cards hoovering up all the limited edition merch so they can (illegally) sell it on eBay. Pretty sure it’s not the tourists pictured with (again, not-allowed) wagons packed with bags full of stuff. Stuff that the tourists couldn’t buy because of greedy jerks.
So, Doris, take your xenophobia and go home.

Guess what? It’s the Pass holders who visit multiple times a month and purchase all the gifts and gadgets that keep Disney going. As Floridians and pas holders we HATE tourists who waltz in and have absolutely NO respect for others. You push, shove, don’t follow rules and use the excuse you don’t speak English, and you think the locals should bow down to you. You come every so often or one time and purchase a few souvenirs while locals constantly go, spend money on foods and collectibles every trip that keeps this park running. We’ve now been limited to reservations and when we are able to get in we don’t want tourists shoving their way through. I’ve seen more tourists act like AH then locals. It’s usually the tourists singing along or hitting punch lines before characters etc. maybe you should go to California Disney land if you can’t handle us locals

Haven’t been to Disney in quite some time, we usually went in Feb. We have been hoping to make one more visit in the near future but seeing the pictures of the crowds, the fighting, the condition of the park, laying off workers, price increases, etc. I just can’t justifying going to Disney at this time. It just doesn’t seem to have magic it use have, which so sad.
