The celebrity cameos have genuinely ruined the authenticity of the show. I can’t be immersed in a make-believe universe if every week I’m seeing an SNL star, Lady Gaga, you name it. It’s absolutely ridiculous. This season of Mandalorian fell off so hard, it’s not even fun anymore.
There are far, far too many spinoff shows and other things going on in the Star Wars galaxy for me to get worked up about it all. Disney killed off a good thing by completely oversaturating the market.
I don’t know who or what a Lizzo even is and I’m probably better off for it.
People keep saying the spin-offs are destroying Star Wars, but many of us like them. We are given new depth to characters we love that did not receive enough screen time during the movies. We get to see their their origin stories or we find out what happened to them after the war. As far as cameos go, who’s to say they weren’t huge Star Wars fans growing up? Who says they weren’t the kids being bullied and now that their hard work has paid off, now they can actually be a part of what they have always loved? If some fans don’t like the spin-offs then simply don’t watch them, but for many other fans, we love them.

Star Wars has been dead for a long time. I have no idea who Lizzo is and don’t care.

Star Wars is long dead thanks to Disney. I have no intention of ever watching another Star Wars movie or tv show while it’s owned by this company.

Lizzo can go f*** herself. Disney has modeled Star Wars after the 1978 Holiday Special
