People don’t give a rats a— about anyone else. They países the money they think they own the parks to hell with anyone else that’s why I don’t go there anymore and we live 10 miles away but anymore that place sucks not even enjoyable with all the entitled people and drinks and fights. Plus Disney changing everything bc people might get offended
As someone who used to work for the mouse, I encountered several parents who had tested positive for covid, flew on a plane because they didn’t want to mess up THEIR vacation.
Disney World also has their employees work while they are sick also, so they are just as guilty about spreading viruses also. I know people who work there.
When a kid vomits, it does not always means that they are sick. My daughter was a child who threw-up every time she got excited or anxious. She was not sick. Yes, I always gave a quick explanation to those around me at every spew!!!
Now that my daughter is older and has grown out of that, it is fun to remind her of every spot that she spewed as we come to it!!!
That is a good point. It can also bee from too many treats… even adults will get sick if they consume too many delicious Disney treats at once, especially if they go running around the parl on a hot day afterwards.
I’m not sure if the person who wrote this article has kids but vomiting doesn’t always equal sick and I would not cancel my day because my son vomited unless he was actually sick. My son now has this tradition of vomiting on the first day of any vacation, due to either over eating or excitement or a mix of both. He also vomits when he eats and he is overly hot. So unless he has an actual temperature we are cleaning up taking a breather in the a corner somewhere and continuing our day.
Vomiting doesn’t always mean sick. If I accidently get ANYTHING with gluten (and cross contamination does happen) I will vomit, sometimes almost immediately. The gluten free pizza at Disney Springs was definitely NOT gf and I got sick pretty quickly. Once it was out of my system, I was fine. However, I did get nasty comments from other people because I did throw up (in the bathroom toliet).
If you don’t want your kids to ever get exposed to anything, put bubble wrap around them and lock them in their room. And for Pete’s sake, don’t fly them to a congested place where 100,000 other people are walking around.
At least not unless you outfit them with bubble wrap space suits

How would you know? Were you part of Disney’s medical services?

Vacation insurance exists for a reason. If you cannot afford to lose your vacation due to illness get it.
If you cannot afford the Disney vacation then you need to plan accordingly.
You are the adult not the kids.
