Directed by Rob Marshall with songs written by Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the live-action version of The Little Mermaid retells the story of the original 1989 animated classic and stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula the Sea Witch, Javier Bardem as King Triton, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Awkwafina as Scuttle, and Daveed Diggs as Sebastian.
Naturally, when Disney makes a movie this big, there is going to be a ton of promotion and merchandise. And if the film is about a classic Disney Princess, there will be dolls. Well, the Ariel doll has finally been released, and the public consensus is beyond positive.

Released on April 26, 2023, the “Ariel Fashion Mermaid Doll” is posable, wears an ombre-colored mermaid tail with a glitter fin, and features her signature long red hair that celebrates the beauty of natural hair for styling.
Fans are already gushing about the doll in reviews, stating, “The design team did an absolutely amazing job of capturing Halle Bailey’s essence into this Ariel doll,” “I ordered this for my granddaughter and she hasn’t put her mermaid down,” and, “She’s beautiful and her fin is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see the movie!!!”
