That’s Rediculous. I have cancer and WUD like to enjoy grandkids at the park. Collapsible stool is perfect. NOT 🚫 A WHEELCHAIR. MAKE CONCESSIONS MANAGEMENT.
For several reasons. Using them in lines could cause people not not move as quickly and hence the line would get held
Up. Also if they did it in line and there was an emergency and people needed to get out they now have items blocking that walkway (actually that is a fire hazard and illegal everywhere). But also the size and shape or folding stools chairs could be a problem on rides. You still
Have to store your items while on rides
How come they blurred out a stool? I was on google searching and nothing came up!! What a load of BS for a stool? Maybe you’re doing something wrong AGAIN Disney!
I am recovering from back surgery. I also have debilitating arthritis in my feet. Both conditions make standing for lengthy periods of time excruciating, if not impossible. I am hardly lazy. Please don’t judge everyone by the standards of “when I was a kid.”
I’m 16 yet I have chronic pain that makes it hard for me to stand sometimes. A stool like this would be very helpful for me. And anyways, so what if people want stools? It’s hard for anyone to stand in 2 hour lines, and if these can make it easier for them, so what?
Oh give me a break. Nobody likes standing in line for 2 or more hours for anything. I guarantee if they had benches or places to sit while you were in line, you’d f***ing sit too.
1.Warn them & tell them they can pick them up at the exit.
2. They do it again, no matter what park 1 day ban
3. Next occurrence 3 day ban, with a FINAL warning, that they will be banned for two years & make them sign it and certified mail to their house.
4. Your banned for 2 yrs
This sucks especially if you have a bad back like my that causes great psin standing for short and long periods. A short sit down does the trick for another 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, I got to use a wheel chair at age 58 and Otherwise healthy to clog up the park even more.
I don’t want to sound cruel but if you have health issues that restrict you from standing in line, maybe a Disney vacation is not the right choice for you.
Unfortunately, I agree. We enjoyed going to WDW in our youth. Now our legs aren’t the same as they were, so we pass on a Disney vacation. Wouldn’t be the same in a wheel chair or scooter.
These are not prohibited as far as I can tell. They are definitely not folding chairs. One could argue they are a monopod that would fit in a standard backpack so they are allowed (under that interpretation)
Lance I totally agree with you on this, I personally don’t see anything wrong with these stools shown in video, I can’t stand long periods in line more than 10 minutes with my bad back and knees, so these stools would help me tremendously
I truly understand many people have trouble standing in line to long.Im one of those people. Not easy. But Disneyland can’t have people bringing folding chair. No matter. Its definitely a fire hazard and can cause injury to others carrying them on rides.Rules are rules. We need to follow.End of story.
Its not a folding chair like you would see at a beach. I can see your point if this was the case. Its a folding stool and barely takes up any room. There is a difference and some stools are combined with a cane for those that need it. I am not opposed to it if there is a medical need.
How old are they??? They can’t stand in a line.??? What’s next they going to sneak in a scooter? We used to walk wdw all. day and just rest when we had our snacks or meals. I guess life is harder in the 2000. These are kids
I truly believe people lose there brains or what they have left of them when they go to Disney. They think they r entitled. I wish Disney would shut down or move out of Florida and then all these crazy tourists would come down here
I think this was a great cheap way to promote this item. Very good marketing and probably owned by one of the parents. How many people googled this stool to buy?
I’m more irritated by the people who bring wagons (especially at DL, my home park) than by a small collapsible stool. Last I checked, a stool that will fit in your backpack didn’t clog up half an acre of space at multiple spots in the park.

Comments for Guests Inadvertently Expose Themselves Bringing Prohibited Items Into Disney World
lorraine
Maybe instead of taking away seating for guests, Disney should add another 20 plus benchs in each of the parks

When I was growing up I had to stand in line and just bear it. People are just to lazy these days!

You make it sound like they smuggled it in, but we carried ours in the open through security. If they are banned, they would have stopped us there.

Who wants to go to this expensive torture park. Lines, and more lines, and more lines, and for this you pay a fortune
Rachel
And stroller wagons are prohibited as well, but they are all over the parks.
