        Follow your advice lazy

If you’re there with your 6 year old daughter, let’s say, and these two attention whores tell her, I’m not a princess, sorry, I won’t take a picture or give my autograph, it destroys the magic for the folks Disneyland was designed for.

        1. Ursula

It’s not about being “attention whores”. I recently had the same thing happened when I wore an Esmeralda dress (sold at Hottopic) to the park. I had to tell parents I wasn’t working there and was simply there for my enjoyment. I dress for me and no one else. I’ve gone in other non-disney-look-a-like dress and I get asked for pictures and autographs because people simply mistake me for a disney employee. Point is, it’s disney and it’s a fun place for everyone of any age.

          1. TERRY TAYLOR

Usually known employees wear badges with names ONLY.Life is short ! Have some FUN ! Asalute here, my dear

        2. Kyle

Don’t hate on whores Steve. Without them you wouldn’t be here.

          1. They are not whores! This is an example of being ugly to each other!

    2. Randy Davis

      Try that again.

    3. Mindy

      *their* lol

      1. Cheryl

        What are you complaining about?

    4. Cheryl

Really you’re going to complain about spelling and yet you got it wrong it’s Their

      1. Jane

You all need to grow up and repeat elementary school!

    5. Liliana

      Their*
      Go back to school.

  2. Abby

Karina is, or at least used to be, a face character at Disney parks, so she should know better. Also tells me she probably wasn’t doing anything to try and stop the attention. Adults Disneybounding that “hard” at the parks is a big no no that she absolutely knew it wasn’t a good idea to dress like that in the park. Disney is NTA here is she got in trouble.

    1. Christy

They knew they would cause a stir. It’s the narcissistic “Look At ME” syndrome so out of control now.

      1. L

It’s not narcissism. What you’re seeing is late stage capitalism, which has forced people to brand themselves to sell themselves and content on social media. Everyone is aiming at a niche.

        1. Walt

          Rather than actually work…..

          1. CJ

Have you ever made a dress from scratch? That IS work.

          2. Liliana

Yes it is. But unless she’s selling her designs, I would guess she is doing it as a hobby.

          3. Brady

            She does sell her dresses

          4. Sora

It literally says towards the bottom of the article that she sells dresses.

        2. Backcountry164

No one is “forced” to do that. Obviously. Stop parroting catch phrases. It just makes you sound like a clueless sheep…

        3. Dale

          Neither is princess matrrial

          1. Scott

            Boom, roasted!

        4. Michael A

Sounds like two sides of the same coin to me

      2. eva

Yes these two women wearing shirt sexy outfits knew what they were doing and they will act stupid to not know park rules of 14 years and younger. They should be fined and evicted from the park.

        1. Rose

If you find knee and shin length dresses with one that includes a blouse sexy perhaps it’s something to take up with a professional. That being said it’s probably best to not dress up at Disney and one of them knew that from working there.

    2. Tomclay

Who cares? They tell people not to dress trashy then tell people not to dress up. Why did people think she worked there holding hands from one girl dressed and looking right out of Monster high!

So what does Disney want? Her dress looks like a pink dress any girl would wear!

Seems like Disney should have a swastika and brown shirts running around!

      1. Liliana

Because character actors are employees and these girls are casual cosplaying. As dumb as it sounds, they don’t want people dressed like that if they’re not paying them.

        1. Anne

It’s the “cosplaying” that sounds dumb, but I don’t expect much from anyone that into Disney.

        2. Lee

It’s not about whether Disney is paying them. They don’t want other guests mistaking guests in costume for Cast Members because Cast Members are required to follow very strict rules on interacting with guests. A guest dressed as a character who tells another guest to #&*+ off is not good for Disney’s rep.

        3. Lizzie Borden

Which is also stupid, because in other countries you can dress up as much as you want and it’s actually encouraged. Because the characters there have incredibly intricate outfits that mere civilians couldn’t dream of achieving. But also Americans don’t like to stop and think, they just act on impulse. If anyone in that video just took the time to look, they’d know they were just guests. It’s ridiculous that people are asked not to dress up. But yet, Disney themselves sell dresses/costumes for adults.

    3. Tori

Mind your business about what Karina is doing. Sorry Abby, but you don’t know this woman. Secondly, adults can disneybound but they were not overdoing it. Both of them looked great and just because people mistook them for princesses… how are they supposed to apologize for being beautiful. Stop being a hater

      1. Steve

They’re hardly beautiful. Strip off the pancake and you know these bitches are busted.

    4. Savannah

Sorry I don’t see what’s wrong with there dresses to me they dressed up in lolita fashion in case you guys don’t know that is dressing up like a porcelain doll it’s very popular we have a group and every time we go out everyone stops us says we look like princess and take pics, I understand they want to keep the magic for the younger kids but that’s where we as parents make sure they have the tech where the characters are so it really shouldn’t be this big of a deal. I fell sorry for us die hard disney for life ppl who would like to be decked out in our favorite Disney characters stuff and having it be a big issue. 🙁

  3. Thera

No one actually believes anyone involved was surprised. That was 100% on purpose for the views it would generate.

    1. L

      Yes.

    2. Totally Agree!

    3. Blah

It’s almost like nobody here realizes this entire article is an ad for Disney..

  4. Heidi

To those saying they should know better, you all should look at the rules. Their dresses are completely fine. The rules state no costumes or dresses that touch the ground. The dresses don’t look like costumes and are certainly above the length limit as they are very short. They don’t look like they’re trying to be anybody. This just seems very unfortunate for them, but they did the right thing by telling people they don’t work there and aren’t princesses. Refusing to take pictures and not doing autographs was the right call as that can get you in trouble. Of course they wanted to have their outfits noticed. Anyone who Disney-bounds wants to be recognized. But they did absolutely nothing wrong. There is no “they should have known better” as they did know and followed the rules.

    1. Gaston

      Go away.

    2. Maddie

      I agree completely.

    3. Kathryn

I’m sorry but the young girl in blue looked like she just stepped out of wardrobe as Belle in her peasant dress. Including the look of her shoes and the ribbon in her hair. So that is indeed breaking the costumed adult rule.
So before you say anything about my comment. I am a cosplayer, Disney bounder and living history reenactor, so I do know the difference.

      1. H

She had BLUE HAIR… no way she was going to be mistaken for Belle.

        1. Ladybug

WTF are you seeing? Neither had blue hair?!?

          1. Abbie

Here hair is blue. If you go to the TikTok video the one girl has stands of blue hair framing her face. It is just hard to see since it is in the front and her hair is black.

          2. Lol

I understand for the gurl in blue but the girl in pink doesn’t look like a princess so I’m confused if they mean them both

    4. Call Youout

So looking straight up like you walked out of the Wizard of Oz is not a costume and everyday normal attire, and cavorting thru the park holding hands with a like dressed friend like 8year olds surely won’t attract anyone’s attention!! Sounds about right.

      1. Pear

See the fact that no one in the comments can pinpoint which princesses/characters they are is even more credence that it’s not rule breaking. Are they Ariel and Bell? Cinderella and Dorothy? Aurora and Alice? 2 of Aurora’s fairy god parents? Etc.
They’re 2 girls wearing dresses, and because you’re not aware of female fashion, teacup dresses are a style and have been an in thing to wear for a few year now. I own like 4 teacup dresses myself. Friend’s dress alike ALL the time, it’s not just a children’s thing to do.

    5. David

They can’t sign autographs or act or answer questions like the characters.

      1. Keep talking to my girl dog I’m a f****** smok u

        1. Liliana

Lemme talk to your girl then. Because clearly she doesn’t need someone as insecure as you.

    6. Liliana

She knew the rules, which meant she also knew the line she was crossing dressing up remotely close to any princess.

  5. Mindy

They didn’t do anything wrong. The dresses were in compliance with the park rules, and they didn’t sign autograph books or pose for pics. NGL, those dresses really are adorable. I’d have been gawking at them too.

  6. Crusty tha Clown

The ultimate look at me excursion…..whatever.

  7. Proud Commoner

So essentially these women decided to Meghan Markle their way through Disneyland.
“Oh we don’t want to be a princess; we’ll reject titles for our children.”
::Turns around, smiles, and waves :::

  8. VLM

*snorting* The rule isn’t ACTUALLY about fearing adults will be mistaken for face characters, it’s about Disney can’t take any kind of criticism; it used to be FINE to go into the park in a costume, until Disney f*ed up AnimeExpo by being excessively greedy and stupid in 1999 or 2000, and taling AE money and then being shocked, horrified, and going full on Karen when they found out that anime ain’t all for little kids and anime fans are frequently hardcore. Passionate cosplayers then went to the park and movked the SH!T out of the House of Mouse, and the Mouse flipped his shit in response.

I have zero sympathy for DISNEY on this one.

    1. CJ

I agree 100%. Disney is never the victim. They’re trying to monopolize as many forms of entertainment as possible.

    2. Feive

      Yay! 🙂👍

  9. Suzi

I think they just look like pretty dresses, not princesses. She has long red hair I’ll have to tell my sis she better cover hers lol. I know they were Disney bounders but come on most of those asking for pics were adults.

  10. Sue

When r grow ass adults going to stop acting like kids.

    1. Kumiko

The same day you do, Sue. Also, it’s *grown.

    2. Kina

Disney characters and movies are for everyone last time I checked. Also pretty sure adult women wear dresses like that. I literally have a green dress like that pink one same style dress in my closet. That’s just a regular dress.

    3. Jess

It’s a dress. Are you trying to dictate what people wear? I’ve seen summer dresses in stores that remind me of that.

  11. Dr anonymous

People complaining here are mad they would only be mistaken for a Karen or a troll while at the park, and probably while on a scooter they don’t need except for the fact they can’t walk from one snack stand to the next to refill their 5 year old popcorn bucket.

  12. Walt

“Look at me! look at me! I’m victim now ” – obvious and pathetic.

    1. Yeah Misty Taylor’s a fake ass b**** lol

  13. FTC

The section on Thersa’s shop needs a #notsponsered or an #ad tag

    1. Gail

If their outfits didn’t follow disney rules how did they get past security or any cast member for that matter? So wouldn’t be Disney’s fault for allowing them in in the first place?

  14. Deitra

Don’t blame the girls, it’s the adult guests who are too stupid to tell the difference between a full on costume and Disney bound outfit. Those dresses looked fine Disney bound is allowed or was allowed last time I checked who knows if things changed Post Pandemic.

  15. Jonathan Paul Martin

Don’t know connection, except DisneyWorld shoed up as location on Google. Then Hollywood Studios on nap. Must be the new email that I made to antagonize my online stalker identity theft suspect. The Disney 2004&2014 actresses

  16. The trailer straight trash ass scum bucket ass w**** prostitute

  17. J.R

    Hmmm
Maybe Im a big kid ( Im 55) or maybe Im naive, but I dont see the problem. As long as the young ladies or whoever make it clear thier NOT Disneyland/Disneyworld employees whats the harm. Its innocent and fun. A great memory that that child or child at heart will hace forever. Disney as of late as been in the news alot latlely with them wanting to enforce thier will on everyone else. Yes I know its private property. Yes I know they have the right to decide what they will and wont allow, BUT. Thats like telling children they cant dress up as thier favorite Disney charactor for Halloween. Really its about moneyif they market it or make money off of it theyll try to block/ban it!! Disney recently bought DC/Marvel comics. They havent put out an issue in months. I can very much see Disney dictating what the story lines can and cant be. Thats not for them to decide thats why children have parents. Telling a young lady she cant wear a halter top in 80/90 degree weather, that beyond over-reach. That just like Rupert Murddock telling his signifigantly younger wife “why do you have to talk to the black player?” We keep allowing crap like this and the Disney land thought police run things they have African American back in cotton fields. Women barefoit and pregnet in the kitchen and children seen never heard!

  18. M

Good grief, one’s wearing sneakers people get a grip. The Disney venue that dresses you like a princess is expensive but the dresses aren’t actually Disney Princess costumes. Not the girl’s fault people don’t recognize that any more than dressing like Snoop Dogg and people think it’s him.

  19. Kip

“Oh look at me! Look at us! Leave us alone!” Narcissistic ass🤡s!

    1. Strawberry

      You’re a clown

  20. The One Who Knows

Fodder for ped*philes and their demeanor shows they know EXACTLY what they’re doing.

    End of Line.

    1. h

They are adults… how are they fodder for Pedos?

  21. Beef yok

    Meh.. who cares

  22. ZeonNewtype

I’m looking at the dresses as hard as I can, and all I can think is “How the hell are people mistaking them for characters?”. Yes, the two ladies looked lovely, but they didn’t look like any known Disney characters.

Something similar to this actually did happen to someone I know, though. Someone I know got mistaken for Alice by a little girl at the park. They didn’t ask for a picture or autograph, the kid was just really excited because she thought she was meeting Alice.

  23. Chelly

Get those yt trash out of the park!

  24. Mims

They didn’t look like prìncesses, costumed characters, or park employees to me. The one who asked for a pic was a teen boy, who wasn’t interested in a pic with a “real disney princess”. He just liked the attractive girls.

  25. TBone

So, this “article” is basically an ad for the dressmaker.

  26. CRAIG EASTOM

Literally makes no sense to dress like this and then act like its unwanted attention making you nervous lol..give me a break

  27. YvonneNC

I don’t know why so many posters act like Disney told these girls to leave; nothing in the article says that. The issue came to the attention of Inside the Magic because the designer of the dresses made a post about how much other Disney guests loved the dresses. I agree that there is nothing wrong with these girls wearing these dresses to Disneyland: The dresses don’t completely match any Disney characters, and a lot of people dress in Disneybound attire for fun. It’s not narcissistic. I assume the designer gave them a deal on the dresses in exchange for their fixing their hair and makeup and attracting attention so the post could be made. Cheap advertising. This is today’s world: Get over it.

  28. yawn

They don’t look anything like princesses but the fabric for those dresses would probably raise some alarms from disney maybe. Who knows they get anal over anyone stepping on their money making turf.
Disneyland is overrated and overpriced anyway.

  29. Ronny James

Steamboat Willie would be shocked to see how Walt developed such a shellacking of the American public. Overrated milk toast with a cup of weak tea is what they serve… at $75 a pop. Pablum puke will likely be your take away. Grow up girls and bring your self adulation to Sunset Strip where it is appreciated.

  30. Ben

    It was intentional.
    They knew what would happen.

  31. Paige

I wanted to do ess as Cinderella for my 50th birthday celebration at Disneyland. I made my own outfit but was sorely disappointed when i found out I wasn’t allowed to wear it. If it is indeed not allowed, how come these 2 were even allowed in the park? ,,,,#sorelydissappointed.

  32. Andie

This is the number major issue today……. To many people in others lives instead of focusing on their own shit. Are those your daughters, sisters, cousins, etc. etc? If not why is there even comments being made? We know nothing about those girl’s lives or anything in that matter. So when do all of you become God with your judgement against others??? All of you are the ones who are giving the attention to the girls not the guest at the park. Envy, is a deadly sun not taken likely, so maybe you should be the ones being judged, which you are, just not in public or online.

  33. Dave

I don’t even know what the pink dress is suppose to be based off of. But the people saying the blue girl looks like belle needs to google that image again. Doesn’t match the length does y have the white apron on the front. even beside all that they are not even wearing the right shoes

  34. Strawberry

What the heck, imagine caring what someone else is wearing. They don’t even remotely look like disney princesses, these losers just want an excuse to harass people.

  35. Perseus

People should be allowed to express themselves regardless of their age or gender.

  36. Ed

Somehow I’m not buying that it was the outfits… I’m a large old fat bald man and if I worn the same outfits I don’t think we would be discussing it. Then again…. At least I’d be keeping seamstresses employed when I had blown out the seams on those little numbers. Besides didn’t they say similar things about the LBD when it first arose in popularity?

  37. J Waggs

In 1995 I was at Disneyland. I had a bikini top on under a shirt. I was hot and tossed the shirt. Not even close to 10 seconds, I was told to get dressed or leave Disneyland immediately. I was so embarrassed. It took 20 years for me to go back. Disneyland is not a magical anymore. It’s so money-hungry, I won’t return.
