I’m not at all sure that changing the name is going to change anything else. I don’t see how “HBO Max” is confusing.
What is confusing is that they’re taking the HBO out of HBO Max. Are we now only getting CInemax with our Subscription? What’s happening to the rest of the HBO family?
This smells of misdirection, an attempt to blame less then needed streaming sales on something that doesn’t really impact sales. Just as the stage magician says look here while he’s doing something elsewhere CEO’s will say this is the cause and were addressing it instead of addressing the real cause. HBOMax has some great stuff so It’s not lack of content that’s the issue and I don’t know what it could be but I don’t believe it’s the name. This name change blame game is only going to buy them some time to figure out what teh real problem is a fix it.

Any idea what the pricing tiers will be yet? I hope it don’t go above 9.99

Why not just call it Warner bros?

They should just HBOMAX down, and give other streamers access to their content, instead.
