Another entitled millennial….she probably said there’s no good food because she can’t get any AVOCADO TOASTS. She should be barred entry from disney and her home taken away by the government

She seems like a peach, I’m sure she’ll have a long line of ex-husbands in her future. Enjoy a long and happy life with your cat(s)

I agree with her. Not whole heartedly but I have been going to Disney World for decades now. The food has gone down hill and the parks are dirtier. There had always been a drainage problem at the Magic Kingdom and lines for transportation have always been long. I will say I have never seen cast members sweeping water.

I’ve never been to WDW, so can’t comment on that place; I CAN comment on DL. Does it have some issues since the pandemic? Yep; the staffing needs to resume at pre-pandemic levels (and ffs, Disney, PAY THEM BETTER). However, I’ve been to Six Flags. Yikes. Never been to Universal, so my only comparison is the bottom-of-the-barrel place. Seriously, if you whine about Disney parks, go to a Six Flags. You’ll change your tune.
In spite of the staffing issues, my trip last year was fantastic. The park was clean as ever and the food was as good as ever. Having had an AP since before 2005, I’ve seen the food quality and offerings steadily improve. It’s still theme park food, but you have a wide variety and good quality. Still miss Big Thunder Ranch (sad face).
There are definitely things that need improving, but this isn’t the place for my list. All I can say is that a WDW trip takes some serious planning, now more than ever. I don’t know if she thought she was going to just waltz in and get instant transportation, front of the line privilege and 5 star food carts, or if she just had no idea how much work a WDW trip is. P.S.: it rains in Florida ALL THE TIME. I’ll leave it to regulars there to say if there’s a drainage issue, but things are gonna get wet, including the streets.

Disney can and does need to do better for those with disabilities, they used to be at the top of the list when it comes to handling them, but now are middle of the road at best.

And a lot of it just comes down to policies and poor training, as well as staffing levels that are too low.

Here is the problem with anyone saying she is just complaining. The park maintenance is terrible, dirty is a huge problem at WDW. You used to never see things on the ground or overfilled trash cans. I have seen worse at other places and to be honest with ou last year i made my first trip to Universal and saw a whole different level of cleanliness there. It was Cleaner than the 80’s and 90’s cleanliness at Disney.
As for the drainage the problem is that you are dealing with a drainage system that is 50 years old and wasn’t designed for the enlargement of MK as that is the park she is referring to. I know that there has been a drainage problem at MK for at least 10 or 15 years now and that flooding occurs on a regular basis now. As stated it is more of a design issue, that needs to be looked at and improved.
As for the food, the quality has been going downhill for years. Instead of actually making things fresh on sight they began purchasing more and more pre-packaged items so that all they have to do is heat and serve. While there are still some very good options there the quality is dependent on what staff they have on rather than the raw materials on hand. Where the worst quality and value are is at the quick service locations. So those that say she is entitled yeah probably, but she is not wrong, in her assessment.
As for the transportation issue that is not poor planning that is the fact that Disney was not running the right number of boats at that time of day. Usually, the wait for a boat is 15 to 30 minutes. Now unless she was in a long line for the boat it should never take an hour for a boat to arrive. However, if there is more people than usual the boat captain will inform the dispatch center and either a boat that has no passengers will be redirected to the docks needed or another boat will be put in-service, if available. sometimes it is just the nature of the situation. Now, sounding like she was not a Monorail resort because that would be the quickest and most convenient transportation to MK her other option would be Bus.
