Its a significant reduction to the appeal of Shades of Green. There is no reason why a lighted crosswalk or pedestrian bridge couldn’t restore the feature and appeal of the resort. Unless of course it is intentionally being done to reduce the resort’s appeal.
Seems very intentional since there are so many easy/relatively inexpensive solutions being ignored. It’s a slap in the face by Disney to our military families.
