When coming from the UK having to do a ridged structured plan for your very expensive holiday for 2 weeks has taken so much joy away from the get up and go experience. The removal of magical express transport magic bands being a resort guest for free just pushes us to stay off site and lean towards Universal just rock up and decide which park shall we do today! The costs are just crazy Disney seem more about greed than the experience of there guests! We have been going since 25th birthday celebrations but now we think maybe it’s just best to leave Disney behind and stay at Universal let’s face it Universal is what it is totally different from experience don’t expect that Disney magic cause your not at Disney!! But do expect it at Disney and I’m sorry to say it just isn’t the same so shall be taking my money else where

Disney has become nothing but greed and has been this way for the last. I would say at least eight years.

To stay relevant you must evolve. However, if customers are consistent, happy, and peak to the point of you being overwhelmed; BEWARE of large wholesale changes without notice, or, for that matter at all.

I did Disney World October 2021, and it was an experience, habing to know the reservations, the rides, transportation, hotels, all of it. A lot didn’t go as planned, but still had a great time. September of 2022, went to Disneyland, knew everything I needed about getting resrvations, the lightning lane, etc., and had an amazing experience. People need to quit crying. With Disney World, roughly 150,000 people can be in Magic Kingdom alone. That’s like visiting a small city on 470 acres. I prefer the reservation system, and would prefer fewer people in the parks. People have become such a-holes going there, everyone is stressed out, I have called out people for their behavior in line, in stores, and in general, and would prefer less of that. If I have to plan something, so be it. Paris in 2019 for a World Cup wasn’t exactly walk up to the door and walk in.

Disney has ALWAYS been over priced.
Problem BEING we ALL have to take our kids to see Mickey so we DEAL with it. Problem NOW is DeSantis & the crap he has Stirred up with Disney & NOW its costing us ALL More… maybe instead of Bashing Disney you should be SAYING Thanks Ron ..
Come July they the locals (hillbilly Gun Happy rednecks) will LEGALLY be able to Wander Around Disney Universal Legoland… Busch Gardens & ALL the Water Parks with AR15s …. you THINK it’s Expensive NOW Ha wait til tourism DROPS OFF because of no one feeling SAFE coming here due to the guns .
THEN add in the FACT that DeSantis & his merry band of psycho right wing State Lawmakers WHO now has TAKEN ALL Florida Marketing Money OUT from within the states & Overseas.

No it’s not easy. DAS has helped with the disability. But no annual pass for DVC is a problem we are debating selling DVC and just going every other year for shorter period of times. We were told to change to off season. That worked last year. This year Easter and spring break ended march April. September May be ok but is start hurricane season. We are now trying camping down ft wilderness. But they are definitely pricing us out

We planned our two week vacation two months ago without any problems. Also was able to get all the dining reservations that we wanted. I think the secret is to know what you want and plan it in advance so you don’t run into problems. The days of just winging it are over with the crowds being so large. I don’t really think it’s necessary for Disney to nickel and dime ever guest that trys to vacation there. It’s so expensive anymore to go compared to vacationing other places. I know we could of went on a wonderful vacation to Europe for less money then it’s costing us to do Disney but my wife is a big fan do we’re going one last time

I’ve been to Disney many times with my family in the past and was looking forward to talking my granddaughters as well. After my last visit with my daughter my family has decided that the Disney experience is no longer worth going to with kids as the lines are too long and the parks are way overpriced .

Here’s what I’ve learned. There are other theme parks in area that are just as much fun. Universal studios and bush gardens just to name a couple. And they don’t have all the rules and hoops disney makes you jump through

Our last trip will definitely be our last after visiting regularly for the past twenty years. Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Grand Floridian but the reservations for parks with delayed park hopping, impossible dining reservations combined with the Genie plan sucked all the fun out of the experience.

I’ve been to WDW at least 10 times over the years, from when I was a child to now with my own children. Going this past fall straight up wasn’t fun for me as the parent having to plan everything and jump through all the new hoops, and tellingly my kids have no interest in going back. Major bummer as I used to love it.

We just finished visiting a couple of weeks ago, and it was our most enjoyable Disney vacation to date. Yes, it definitely takes planning, but not really that much more than I did previously. Wish I didn’t have to pay the extra LL $, but figured it out on the first day and we rode every single ride we wanted to. We paid due park hoppers, but ended up not hopping, which was a first, actually made the days more enjoyable.
As always, looking forward to the next trip!

Having to plan and book every minute of my vacation in advance is not enjoyable. We have skipped our Disney vacations as a result.

It seems like only the Rich and famous are able to afford the Disney experience. Disney you have priced out the average family out. #Saddest Place on earth#No experience available
