Honestly, they need to address this at Space Mountain at Disneyland, they do have the spot they can pull a vehicle off to the side, but that doesn’t help if someone didn’t know they needed that.

So it was their ankle but they hit their shin and knee? Disneyland guests are not rushed to get off of any rides. I have been going since 1962 and never been rushed off. They don’t need to address a problem that doesn’t exist. Smells of another made up story to start a lawsuit.

I am 59 and am now disabled. I have been going to Disney parks since I was 15 and completely healthy. Then and now I have never felt the feeling of being rushed getting on or off rides by Disney cast members or fellow riders.

I don’t know what you’re all talking about on this thread, because Disney always rushes people off rides. My cousin works there and they literally tell her every day that she comes in and work to get the people off the rides as quickly as possible so they can keep the line moving especially when it’s busy, they’re in in literally encouraged to keep repeating themselves to exit a certain way. Create a sense of urgency so people will exit as quickly as possible no way that they don’t like to stop the rides and my mom is almost 80 years old and has cancer in her bones, and mental her shoulders, and in her knees and they refused to stop the haunted Mansion ride for her to get on and off the ride, so they just slowed it down for her and I didn’t do any good as she almost fell off the ride.

You stated because of cast member quickly acting you were able to enjoy the rest of your week. Guess you weren’t hurt to bad if the rest of your week was great.

Watch your step and watch your head.

If you should miss your step and hit your head, please watch your language.

How is this a story? Maybe DeSantis needs to close space mountain and inspect it for potential embarrassment of trip hazards, that didn’t ruin the rest of her week?

Wow. You might want to stay out of Florida. Take the bitterness somewhere else.

Two personal stories. I’m 60 hrs old, and a Native Floridian. Have been a frequent guest at WDW from opening weekend in 1971, throughout my whole life. When I was around age 12, we went with a church group. One of the older teenagers was crippled from polio, but still able to get around fairly well, with braces on her legs. She boarded Space Mountain just fine, but upon exiting, the ride car started to move while she was exiting, causing her to fall and be dragged a few feet on a carpeted surface (in those days) before Castmembers heard our screams. She was uninjured, but shaken up with a little “rug burn”. I myself was injured just two years ago, when boarding Peter Pan. I am disabled, and had asked the ride operator to stop the moving walkway while I boarded, or at least slow it. They had me go ahead and step onto the walkway, and just as I placed one leg and my cane into the ride car, she brought the walkway to a DEAD STOP suddenly, causing me to slam my upper body into the handrail and front of the ride. She saw what happened and looked shocked, with hand over her mouth, and said “Ooops!” No apology, no one checked or asked if I was ok, etc. I rode in tears. After we left the ride, I went to first aid, where they documented and photographed severe bruising on my stomach and rib cage. The nurse acted as though there was nothing else they could do. No x ray, etc. I also lodged a complaint at our hotel. Wasn’t looking for any compensation, simply a little compassion and the assurance that the ride operator would be reprimanded and trained. All I came home with were weak apologies, and excuses. YES- people DO get rushed, and even injured boarding those rides.
