Are we to the point on this site where anyone can say anything without an ounce of proof and get someone to write about it as if it was gospel. By the way I was driving my car this morning on the way to work and a T-Rex jumped out of the woods and began to chase me. Turns out the T-Rex was only trying to let me know my tire was low. We are best friends now…there “journalist”, write about that too
Oh boo hoo.
This really sounds like a first timer.
I have never had any of these problems. 18yr DVC member.
Sounds to me like mountains out of molehills and disregarded the check out rules.
You don’t get to complain about your room not being ready early (which is never guaranteed) AND that they started getting it ready for the next guests when you were done using it in the same post haha. Do they REALIZE how many rooms need to be turned over each day?!? I bet this person didn’t tip housekeeping either 🙄
First of all I have Experienced at the Disney resorts them? Knocking? On the door at 8 in the morning when check out is 11 and waking every 1 up 1 time they knocked on the door and woke up the. Baby not cool when you are paying until left when a clock. You stay until 11 o’clock if you need to without any interruptions from the maids or anyone else for that matter.
I agree with everybody’s elsis comments. Early checking is only available if rooms are available but already I see this person as complaining about everything. To complain about the dirty sheets very simply call downstairs and ask for a new set of sheets if they’re not there in an hour call down again that’s what happened to me at the Grand Floridian. They even sent up complimentary chocolates to say they were sorry about not having clean sheets on the sofa bed.
This is ridiculous. I wish they wouldn’t rent out to nonDVC people. You can tell who they are. They string up lights, put stuff on doors, hang swimsuits over the balcony. Generally they act like trash. Then they complain and make others miserable. Am I generalizing? Yes. Does the stereotype fit often, yeah. The only the that gets me more worked up are resale buyers who go on Facebook and brag about how they didn’t get caught getting to use a perk meant for direct buyers or grandfathered resale buyers. These are the same people who normally would scream “law and order” and “protect our borders”. I honestly wish it was one streamlined system.
They sound like a Karen. They probs were told that early checking is only possible if there are rooms available, they are not owned it or any special treatment compared to other guests who all paid the same price. And I would bet they came back late for check out 🙄

I am a Disney passholder. I love Disney don’t get me wrong but they object up their prices. They are not magical anymore. They’re all prudes and people with money that pay a $1000 for a hotel room should get what they pay for a $1000 for 1 bad possibly. 2 yeah well i’d expect to. Check? Out at 11 o’clock too not before and not to be disturbed. Disney is turned into a money rocket laundering process.
Seriously?? Kicked out? Check in is at a certain time but NOT guaranteed! Have you never traveled? Been to Disney properties dozens of times, and whenever there was any issue, all I did was call and issue taken care of. And check out? They didn’t kick you out. Agree, person just looking to complain about everything and get something for nothing. Possibly think of others instead of your privileged self.
You are delusional. Check in is at 3 o’clock. Only one since Covid have I been able to get into my room before 7 PM. I’ve done the pre-check on line everything. They were supposed to text me my room number. Instead, I 3 different times I had to go and wait in line at 5 o’clock and I still waited more two hours. Never before Covid have I ever had a late check in from them. Then check out is supposed to be at 11 and they start harassing you at 9 AM to leave the Maid will not respect the do not disturb sign either She knocks once and comes in. Maintenance too showed up knock once in came in. We were trying to pack up to leave and the maintenance man actually tried to tell me I had no choice but to let him in I pay till 11. Also, the rooms are not as clean as they used to be.
Disney is like Walmart. They assume that because of their past economic status that they are immune to failure. I’ve seen more negative articles on Disney than on the Kardashian’s, and quite honestly Disney (no I don’t believe that they will really read this), your desperation and 1970’s Motel 6 ratings are starting to make Silver Dollar City sound like a dream vacation.
I was at Disney resort, vacationing by myself. I work night shift I would go to parks then come back and nap. I kept the do not disturb sign out because I at times was sleeping. Shoot it was only me and no cleaning needed. Some supervisor lady showed up and forced her way in my room and searched my room. I was so mad.
The last three out of four times I went to Disney after Covid I didn’t get into my room until 7 PM. ALSO the last time I was there. The same thing happened to me upon exiting, housekeeping started knocking on my door at 9 AM even though I had a do not disturb then they actually opened my door. At 10:00, maintenance came to fix some thing, I had to play Karen when he refused to leave after I told him he would have to come back, we were packing and getting ready to leave. I was not dealing with the maintenance in my room during paid my time.

Not their problem-hire more staff if it takes long to turn over the room..I expect more when I am paying $1000.00 per night vs $79.00 at a Quality Inn

Not for nothing-but $1000.00 a night-I expect more. I don’t blame him for complaining. Also,checkout wasn’t until 1100 people-are you missing that??
