I was at WDW in March 2023 and line cutting was rampid .. it was happening alot and nothing was being done.. that’s bs that it’s done at the end . Maybe it happened then but that wasn’t a regular occurrence. Cm so not confront people anymore. Plus there is a huge shortage of Cm’s. Disney is as bad as Great Aventure
wouldn’t spend a nickel to fly to Orlando
Nor would I pay over 100 dollars a day to
Get into Walt Disney world or pay the
Crazy prices to stay in their park or pay for
overpriced hamburger and over priced junk
They sell for with the. Name Disney on it at their
Stores
Adults are actually the worst ‘culpricks’ (yep… spelled it that was on purpose because they’re real pricks) for line cutting. Experienced it several times at WDW in December. When you call them out on it, they just ignore you as if they don’t hear you.
The worst I’ve seen at Disney recently- rude staff, rolling their eyes at customers, talking amongst themselves, on their phones and ignoring customers, and the park was filthy.
To the one in the article that insulted ‘school groups’…not all are heathens! My granddaughter went during Spring Break with her high school choir & they are well-disciplined & follow rules. They even received compliments on how they conducted themselves. Were they excited kids? ABSOLUTELY! Did they cut lines? Absolutely not! It is insulting to read how some think ALL school groups are trouble makers & heathens because of other school groups that actually are! By the way…my granddaughter’s high school choir CRUSHED the competition in every.single.category! They even beat out a 100 voice choir…we had 39 girls & 20 boys! *Just a proud grandma bragging on her granddaughter & choir!*
As a formar cast member…kids are seldom the problem. If they do something cheeky they usually listen when they are told off.Bad adults are way worse and since they have paid for their stay, they feel entitled to do anything they want and won’t listen to a college kid cast member telling them to stop. I’d take hyped up children choirs or cheer groups over unruly adults any day. Plus kids are cuter than big people lol.Hope your grand daughter had fun!
There’s a much easier solution (and far more satisfying): when you purchase tickets read the fine print. Disney reserves the right to eject rule breakers from the park. Do that a few times, get publicity for it with the people whinging about how they were grievously mistreated, and see how often it continues to happen.
Makes you wonder what is becoming of our society when people can’t control themselves in public. I know it’s mostly kids but it reflects on the parents of today. There are so many terrible ones
It’s not just at WDW that bad behavior is out of control, it’s at sports practice and games weather it Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, and Football games. I was at a school basketball game of 7th and 8th graders and you could only clap. It was wonderful, no yelling, ordered from the people in attendance. It was super great.
While I think it’s about time line cutters are facing consequences it won’t last. Those cutters have parents that will complain that their snowflake was embarrassed and Disney will stop.
I have been at many events where line cutting happened many times. No one says anything. I’m glad if WDW is addressing this rude, discussing behavior.
People are out of control in our country and we need to implement extreme penalties on this rude, outrageous behavior of children as well as adults.
I really try not to go to many events anymore. Children and adults only learn to behave differently by being disciplined. Reward for good behavior and disciplined for bad behavior. My opinion.
Well when you have huge bad examples of human like our orange leader, then what do expect the new generation to do? Be honest, Nobel and wise? Nope they just follow bad examples thinking they can always get away with cheating in Disney lines.
Put up a sign at the head of each line “Line cutters will be removed from the park & have their tickets deactivated.” Being kicked out of one ride is not a big enough threat. A threat on the expensive ticket might just do it.
I did have a guy cuss me out when I was watching the “Happily Ever After” show. He felt I was in his way. All he had to do was say “Excuse me” and I would have moved. I
Leaving magic kingdom, getting on a Disney bus to head to our room.A lady in a wheelchair got really angry at the bus driver. The driver put a stop to her and her 3 abled. Body and 4 children getting on the bus first. She was only allowed to take one with her. The rest had to wait in line with the rest of us. Thank you Disney for being fair to all.
