Absolutely, you pay even if you cannot afford to take a trip that year. If you have plenty of money, then I guess it’s no big deal, but I would just pay to stay at a nice Disney resort. I know there are perks, but you pay way more than the average person would spend per year on a vacation, and you still have to buy tickets.
We’ve always enjoyed our DVC membership, but lately have found it very difficult to find times to use our points. Even at 11 months out, some of the resorts are totally booked. So I’m not sure why DVC is pushing more people to buy into it. Where and when are these people going to find accommodations?
Exactly, usually book a 1 bedroom because the studios are always already booked and selling 100 point minimum they will usually going to book a studio.

Timeshares are not a good idea. You give them a blank check. You are better off taking vacations as you can afford them
