I hope Ms. Rawlings is still associated with the HP franchise. I understand that Ms. Watson disapproves of her because of Rawlings beliefs regarding Transgender. Ms. Watson may disagree with Ms. Rawlings beliefs but attempting to silence people via business associations because you don’t think alike leans a bit towards fascist ideology. Ms. Watson claims to be a feminist but I heard her say in an interview that she would not mind a biological male trans in the same restroom with her. I’d like to see her reaction to changing and showering with a biological males minus her body guards. As a feminist, Ms. Watson seems to have no problem with biological males dominating women’s sports. I got one have lost all respect for Emma Watson. I would love to here that I am wrong or misunderstood what I heard her say. I would also love to here her fight for women’s rights and all the attacks against women from the trans community.

Really? It seems like you want her to think like you do and if she doesn’t she’s of less value. You’re doing the same thing you’re accusing her of doing. Also you misunderstood her entire point. Just say you dislike trans people and go about you’re day.

      1. Kathy

        I agree with you 1000%.
I too have lost a lot of respect for her as well.

      2. Kathy

Really? It seems like you want her to think as you do as though and if she doesn’t SHE has less value.
        Right back at you.
        Everyone has value.
Just because this person has different opinions and values you say they don’t like trans? You are a hypocrite

I’ve read the Rowling comments that people are raging against and they are absolutely NOT anti-trans. If anything shes a feminist not a transphobe. Hating on her and refusing to work with her is all just ignorance on the opposite side of the scale.

      4. Randy Tyson

Wow. Totally not what he said at all.

      5. Heather

I don’t think that’s what they were saying at all. I think you need to give people respect to get respect. I respect other people’s views even if I don’t share them. If JK doesn’t believe in Trans, who cares? It doesn’t effect anyone who is Trans. They are still who they want to be. She is allowed her own views, just as they are. You can’t force people to believe the same as you. That makes zero sense. Respect goes both ways. Now, as far as Harry Potter goes, I want to see The Cursed Child made into a movie!

        1. Kandise

You don’t have to respect people’s views when they take away other peoples rights and try to exclude them which is what J. K wants to do

    2. Kalika

Who the hell is ms. Rawlings?

    3. I’ve used the men’s room when the women’s was too long of a wait. It’s just urine. However, I don’t want sports integrated bc it really isn’t fair.

Fantastic Beasts failed because of the removal of Johnny Depp as Grindelwald! His followers are loyal and there are so many that they affected the films income and success/failure! Perhaps Johnny Depp being returned to his role would result in the former level of success IF you can get him to return after he was treated like he was guilty before being proven innocent!

I would love to see the original cast in a film version of the Cursed child. I am not ready to see them replaced , and would probably not watch a remake TV series by HBO.

For those that read the books. We should embrace a tv series because to be honest after the 3rd or 4th HP movie they left so much out from the books and added things unnecessarily. J.K. will be producing the tv series and it will be more true to the books than the last 4 movies could ever hope to be.

  3. James

I think the actors should go their own way. Hogwarts is bigger than they are, we don’t need them anymore. Like any other employee, they are expendable. Life goes on.

  4. Doods

The Cursed Child timeline has Harry as a 37-year-old parent. I don’t think Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson at this time have the acting skills to portray the characters which are at a different place than where they left them.

Just cast wonderful actors for the parts. Then shoot the time travel parts of the movie with the cast of the new TV series at the right time. Then release the movie after the 7th season. That way you get complete continuity of the entire Harry Potter saga.

      Daniel is 33 yrs old…

The cursed child story was a complete and total dumpster fire. There are so many problems with it being consistent with the original books and it sidelines the big 3 to preform a lazily written time heist.

  6. Brad

It would probably be best to just get new actors to do it. They probably really don’t want to do it because they don’t like the person but best not treat them how they treat people they disagree with that would be mean and not tolerable which they preach.

After a while films and franchises get over saturated. it’s possible to catch lightning in a bottle once or twice but after that your just lining up j.k’s pockets!!💲💲😍🤑🤑🎊🎊🏆

Make Original content within the wizarding universe. The other schools have other students each with a possible story. Quit rehashing the same thing over and over. Hogwarts legacy was an amazing game. Do a Hogwarts Origin Story about the creation of the school. Or its 1st graduating class… Possibilities are endless

    1. Jack

There is no Harry Potter without JK Rowling. It’s that simple. The woke mob can’t cancel her. The ungrateful Harry Potter stars who would be nobody’s if not for JK Rowling can whine all they want. They are not required for the new TV Series. JK Rowling does not need them. They are way too old now anyway.

  9. Cody Popp

I cody popp loves Harry Potter as it has been and how it should also continue Harry Ron and even herminey are the best best for the roles no one like make over replacements in this world let alone a movie you know people only watch those movies and go watch them and yes the films makers still make there money but none of it should go that way, not when your 8 movies in or you know um like twilight or the fast series hell even saw series something that long and carried out will have us use to the originals with love, care joy and even brings happiness to our hearts. Don’t remake something that been done the first times once it done it Done no copy cats n a different way bc then what you are basically sending the people up there an don’t care what happens when u say you do but you don’t why have them go through it in the first place. Im not wanting to start anything or get anyone upset or any conflict. I’m strictly stating how I feel on the characters returning or a new cast. I wouldn’t watch the new fantastic beast or even the new amazing Spiderman. I love Ron herminey and Harry, there passion and so on just want theyr had to share in the movie directed or not was and is always will be the best. You can’t redo or bet the most meaningfull emotion like was done though out Harry Potter sorry you just can’t. I love Daniel Emma and Rubt is all I’m saying and I know you know it to.

  10. Dave

    *has. Has confirmed.

  11. Daniel

Money money and more money. I have really see any of them on big screen these days. Daniel just had a baby. I wish him luck.

  12. Emily

I hate how it says none of the main trio has ruled out a comeback. Daniel has specifically said a few different things. One being he’s not saying he’d never return to Harry Potter but has no intentions of doing so at this point in time. Only because he finally feels as if he isn’t just “Harry Potter” he’s finally being recognized as Daniel the actor who was in more than just Harry Potter! Daniel also made statements he would only return to film a new Harry Potter movie if JK wasn’t involved. Sssoo I feel like while he hasn’t totally ruled out going back he’s still said he pretty much has no intentions of returning right now! Then again I can’t even remember how long ago it was that he said that!

  13. markhughw

I’d like to see a whole new cast, but cameos are OK as long as they are not main characters.

    1. AceofHarts91

I don’t know. Rupert wants to come back. He could play a different weasely if he wanted lol

      1. AceofHarts91

Not one of the school age ones maybe bill? Or Charlie so it would be a recurring cameo.

  14. JK

Yea, I’d love something like this. But yea, I’m one of those that stand for inclusion, and JK isn’t that.

    Hard pass.

  15. Greg hates the cursed child

Cursed child was awful. Completely went against the core of the main characters. I hated it. I would not watch it no matter who starred.

  16. JK Rowling

Agreed. I thought it was rubbish.

  17. Hagrid

Any of you that have issues with the opinions of J.K. need to look in the mirror, just like you, she is entitled to her opinions. Honestly if you actually take away the hype, her opinions are valid, you are just too sensitive

  18. Hanna Granger

Are there already auditions, and if so, are they only conducted on an American basis or can one also participate from another country? And does it work if you are e.g. 12/13 instead of 10/11?
