THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS NO ACTUAL NEWS!!! No attraction is closing, nor is WDW going to move. Anyone who thinks it will should seek medical attention.

    1. Rroe

Exactly correct. Next we will be hearing that Disney is building a new “Jurasic Park” in Costa Rica…….HA!!!!

      1. Terry

WHAT!!! So that means pirates of the Caribbean ride will eat the tourists!!!

        1. Eric

Please stop with this s#*t of Disney leaving Florida. It is no going to happen. It is not possible to MOVE Walt Disney World ANYWHERE. It require building brand new from scratch. Even Disney is not going to spend that kind of money. All this reporting everywhere is just about getting view. Please stop.

          1. The World Fairs used to move rides all the time. It would be cheaper and better in the long term to move their entire operations to a place like Cancun, Mexico where the largest train infrastructure project in the world is going on as well as the second most popular tourist destination in the world after Dubai.. Theme parks have been buying up land in the Yucatan with the rumors that Disney is coming next.. Florida isn’t attracting the visitors anymore and the U.S. isn’t attractive or feasible for businesses or families – time to move on!

          2. Cody

You can’t be serious? Most parks are sold out daily. Isn’t attracting the visitors anymore, their reservation system would tend to disagree

          3. Rich Hajdukiewicz

I was stuck on Rocin Dollar Coaster when a young girl with autism could not keep her hands inside the ride vehicle. We had to wait post “thumbs up” but before the initial launch for about 20 min. I had locked my bar tight & was feeling clostaphobic towards the end of the wait. Also, I had an itch that I could not reach. Although we did get an extra fast pass out of the delay, I’m not sure it was worth it. It also didn’t help that I had my first time riding 10 yr old next to me that I had to keep calm & remind her that it’s “it’s not always like this”. Also, Disney will never move from FLA, so this article should be re named, in my opinion.

        2. When a company cease to perform its core mission, which is to entertain and go political and woke, they go BROKE! It’s coming to Disney with its (G)reedy Creek management. Would be a delight to see the swell head of Iger cut down to size and the mouse flaundering on its knees. BYE, BYE DISNEY. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HAVE YOU WHEN YOU WERE REAL BUT A SCOURGE WHEN YOU ENTER POLITICS AND TRY TO RULE FLORIDA!

          1. Marty Hugo

DeSantis is the one playing politics and retaliating against Disney over exercising its right to free speach. I heard today that the new DeSantis hand-picked governing Board for the area is making it illegal for area businesses to take precautions against COVID, etc…. such as masks and social distancing. Legal experts feel that Disney has a strong legal case against the state of Florida for its actions as directed by DeSantis. Thus, FL taxpayers will get to pay to defend the state’s actions.

      🤩

    3. Dan Vasse

      Calm down!

    4. Rudy

I don’t know about closing but I know here in Texas in Frisco Texas they’re trying to build a new Disney world

      1. Felicia

No that’s Universal building a family theme park…. Disney isn’t building anything there…

      2. Shawn

        In Texas I believe it

    5. Carm

Disney’s not the family place it used to be. They should move to a state that is more acceptable to their new style of fun

      1. George Boers

Its still a great family vacation destination

      2. Griderrr

Bs stop listening to Fix it news and lying Ronnie – Fl native

    6. Mark

No other company gets away with not paying taxes for scores of years
And current Disney wants to teach young kids wierd sex!?

      1. countesspetofi

I would recommend cutting down on whatever hallucinogens you’re taking.

      2. Patriotson

Absolutely they sipped the trans straw and caught the STD of wokeness

        1. Marty Hugo

Are you saying that one must be a Bigot to be a patriot? ALL people have rights, regardless of Race, gender, religion, etc.

      3. Exactly. So Disney has to go. Bad influence to the youth!

      4. Marty Hugo

Did DeSantis tell you that crap?

    7. Joey

Disney should be taken out they discriminate people with disability they did it to me. They thought I was lying that I was autistic autism and seizures they thought I wrote my doctor note. Then they fire me three days later. What magical place you call that. Then put me on the no rehire list well they got magic coming to them

  2. Tony

My family had evacuated Rocking Roller coaster twice, Haunted Mansion once and Space Mountain with the lights on. Very cool to see every time.

    1. Pete

Disney can’t afford to build a new park on their own, which is how they would have to build something in South Carolina. The costs would simply be astronomical for a new park in the USA that isn’t something small that’s grown over decades. Disney just can’t afford it. They couldn’t afford the /Japanese Chinese parks without financial assistance from other investors as part of the deal. And even now those parks arn’t owned by Disney, but they effectively just lease IP to those parks. There’s no other operator in the USA that would make the Chinese parks type of deal.

    2. RASP

We endureda space mountain break down in 1980. No evacuation but the ride stopped and the lights engaged. It was cool to see it with the lights on. And we were taken to the front of the line to reboard for an uninterrupted ride.

  3. C

I heard that there are perks to being stuck on a ride

  4. L Hudson

Ride broke down twice on the then new Mickeys runaway train. Almost near the end of the ride where everyone sitting in their car for a while before the cast members came and helped escorted us out.

  5. Jerry

We were on The Pirates of Caribbean and because of the air pressure shift my wife’s contact came out. She went into a full-blown panic attack. The boat stopped and a voice asked us what was wrong. As soon as I told them a door and several techs came out and whisked out if the boat along with contact. They took us to a close by room where she was checked out and we relaxed until she ok to go back out. We were amazed at how efficiently they handled the situation.

  6. Marsha P

We got stopped on haunted mansion. Lights came on snd we had to walk out. Interesting to see how things worked but lost the magic of the rode

    1. Betsy

Disney has lost the magic Walt wanted. He never wanted shoulder to shoulder crowds or alcohol… That contributes to the lack of magic there now. I do have a funny story of getting my arm stuck in one of the turnstiles at the monorail when I was 7, it was at the front entrance and I can still remember everyone looking at me as they passed through the other ones. 😂😂

      1. Mark

Best video ever is Danny Kaye introduces Epcot

  7. slb

Disney needs to inflict as much pain as possible on Der Dwarf and Florida. Exercising 1st Amendment rights shouldn’t be punished, but when a petulant clown runs a state, things like this happen.
Reckon how many elite private investigators Disney can afford?

    1. Blakbeard

Get a clue and actually look at what perks and exclusive rules and regs they have over other parks. They for some reason have virtually no state regs or laws and that needs to change. Unfortunately they as a company decided to step into politics which a company should always remain neutral or risk what is happening now the restriction of years of special treatment and the leveling of the amusement park laws.

      1. countesspetofi

Get your story straight. It was them getting out of politics that pissed DeSantis off to begin with.

    2. TDH

      🖕

      1. Biteme TDH

        Back at you.

    3. Jim

Disney needs to issue an immediate apology for ever stepping out of their role as an entertainment company and mistaking themselves for a political entity. Nobody cares what they think, but they crossed the line when they promised to fight the State Government, and in turn got their @#$ handed to them. If you think corporations should be running politics, you’re as much of the problem as they were before they were put back in their place.

      1. The GOP gave corporations the right to engage in politics! See Citizens United case.

      2. Slim Jim

How to say “I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about” without actually typing it.

      3. Marty Hugo

Ever hear of campaign donations… both above and under the table? In large part they come from corporations and the very wealthy people who own them. For example, the NRA fronts for gun manufacturers and collectively they contribute enough $$$ to members of Congress that they avoid voting in any meaningful gun legislation. Have you heard about the corruption of a Supreme Court Justice? Woulder where the money came from? Take a look at pharmaceutical company donations and you will learn more about why drug prices are so high in America.

    4. Al

Disney would lose more than they would gain. You probably don’t even live in Florida. It would like me complaining about crime in NYC. I feel for those people, but they are getting the service they deserve by the people they put in office.

    5. mcballs

lmao obviously not from florida DeSantis is the best gov in the nation, kept us open, fights groomers, had our back during the storms…. go drown in your salty, salty tears libtard

      1. Dumpdumbsantis

So come live here if you think it’s so great. Maybe you get some cash incentive to move from dumb santis

      2. Deb

You know that “kept us open” means killed people don’t you? A lot of people.. And I am not a libtard. Merely an independent voter who keeps my eyes and ears open. Does that mean I am WOKE?
        Mr. Merriam Webster thinks so.

      3. TheMouse

        Hahahahahaha! DeSantis. Hahahahahah!

    6. Patriotson

You are a minority in thinking DeSantis has inflicted pain on Disney. They made choices and now reap the consequences.

    7. Marty Hugo

Good comments. Florida voters need to elect more rational leaders.

  8. Jeff

Disney will never leave Florida Period

    1. Dan Vasse

They could come to Jamaica, so perfect!!!

  9. Lawrence

Disney needs to stick to entertaining and stay out of politics. That’s the reason people go on vacation to escape the BS of what’s going on with Joe and Hunter Biden. Joe takes showers with his daughter and Hunter is a drug addict that his daddy exploited for financial gains.

    1. Pay attention to sick person that is trying to take over Disney

      1. Phil

Brandon isn’t trying to take over Disney!

        1. Ann

Would be cool to “expand the majic” by buying out Carowines and making another additional land. I would love for them to build Elsa’s castle and call the new world “Elsa’s Island 😍

    2. Sleepy Larry

      Hahahaha

    3. Patriotson

Politics in entertainment is like making oil and water compatible.woke corps are reaping the consequences like bed bath and beyond, Hollywood, etc.

  10. Kevin

Disney has a 24 month deadline to remove rides. This is the first of many 😢

  11. Milo

    Let them leave. Their loss.
I wouldn’t miss them even a little. Universal Studios and others would expand over time.

  12. Glo

II think you’re confusing the Magic Kingdom with a real country that’s a monarchy.
Disney is not going anywhere. Who’s kidding who.

  13. Show me the problem were Disney could not afford to move

    1. mcballs

show me you’re not legally retarded

  14. WirelessWonkFL

Hate to break it to you but WDW is 3 states South of NC, not two. It appears that ITDM would not follow the mouse to the new location since they can’t even follow the geography.

  15. Bill

Andrew, you’re hyping this up way too much. If anybody thinks Disney is actually going to move, you guys are delusional. Andrew, is this the only way you can get readers is to hype up a story that will never come true?

    1. Rosie

Seriously? Get a fact. Disney pays more than 1 billion a year I n taxes to the state of Florida. It is the 3rd largest employer in Florida and, it’s starting pay is $18 dollars an hour. Higher than the two larger employers in the state. You just wish you could get a job at that “woke” company

  16. Robert

Well if Disney does leave it will be the equivalent of a economic asteroid hitting Florida.Total impact of around 400,000 jobs.
People don’t drive from Iowa to go to SeaWorld or Universal Studios. The day Disney lets Ron or anyone else tell them how to run their company is the same day hell freezes over.

    1. Mater Salad

Actually, yes, people do drive from Iowa, and Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and North Dakota, to go to Sea World and Universal. Even just for the ocean and beaches. Florida would be just fine without Disney. Just like they were all the way up until 1970

      1. Themouse

Florida would be fine without Disney? Hahahhahahahahaha!

  17. jimmy

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls,
Yeah right, Disney is going to put Cinderella’s Castle in a suitcase and move on out. They do not employ as many as some people think although it is around 75,000. Where is Disney going to come up with all the money to move? Last we heard was that they are laying off 7,000. How about they just work with the great governor of Florida instead of being a mouthpiece for Dem and Gender propaganda. My family is concerned with Disney’s bringing the magic which is what we are paying for. They can keep their own personal views posted to their social media accounts. Universal is building another land and expect them to only continue to expand. Disney needs to fix their business model and get it back to family oriented entertainment. And yes, instead of going to Disney their are plenty of other options in sunny Florida, Universal, Seaworld, Beaches etc. etc.

    1. follow your leader

you will never see the pearly gates

  18. What would Disney do during the winter in north Carolina? There is so much more to do in Florida then get hosed by a mouse

  19. Henry

As much as would hate for them to leave Florida, I wish they actually do. This should ruined this megalomaniac, stupid, retarded, fascists, dicktator governor of ours and all of his pet legislators.

  20. ƁVM

Many yrs ago while I was a kid, was stuck in the haunted manison buggy ride, what seems like forever. We were stopped right in front of the witches Magic ball. Was told someone got off the ride & the staff had to deal with that random person 😜

  21. Kerry Osler

All that is being presented from what is being said is that Disney should respect the Florida and all of its laws, rules, Policies and proceedures they are in just like they expect guest to behave themselves likewise on Disney properties they are in🤷‍♀️ Quid Pro Quo

  22. Jane Wroe

This may be the most useless, no point formation of words ever written.

  23. Nathan Sommers

We were evacuated from Frozen in the Epcot resort. Our “boat” was in the middle of the ascent. We waited about 25 minutes for attendants to empty the boats. I took a couple of pictures of the “magic” behind the scenes before the voice of God came over the ride’s speakers, “Do NOT take pictures while exiting the attraction!”

  24. Dan Vasse

Come on Disney, move to Jamaica, no DESANTIS there!!!

  25. Karen

It would be so much easier to vote DuhSantis OUT instead!
Whose next Universal? Sea World? Who is this crappy Govenor be vindictive to next?
    Vote him OUT!

    1. Patrick

      Keep him in

  26. David

The “United States” are anything but united. Southern Evangelicals attacked America causing 620,000 to 750,000 Americans deaths during the Civil War. No American should have anything to do with Southern Evangelicals, ever.

    1. Patrick

Sorry you got your history I little wrong on that one but better luck next time

  27. Fran

Given this terrible relationship with the government of Florida, the best thing would be to move, and North Carolina is an excellent option. Too bad it’s just a rumour. Unless another governor takes over in the next election things won’t get better for WDW.

  28. John

Sad to see the once iconic brand and theme park be destroy by the $poiled heirs……Walt Disneyis rolling in his grave as white guilt wokeness infests his magical creation……white guilt is a pandemic destroying the capitalism that built God’s greatest country

  29. Johnny B

It would cost them about $10 billion to leave Florida. I mean I have seen dumber moves but it’s not going to happen. It’s just a political ploy to get Biden to pony up money and support while they grease his back pocket. I mean all that has happened is they are now on equal footing with universal studios now…

  30. Patrick

I wish they would leave really sick of seeing how many Disney employees get arrested each week for sex crimes against kids Disney is a cancer that needs to be cut out

    1. Deb

      Prove that purgurous remark .

  31. Just had to bring politics into it ..dont worry disney will still be making millions.

  32. Barbara

I personally don’t think Disney world is not going to be moving to another state. It would cost a lot of money to pack up and move, find land to put it on, relocate everything and everyone, etc. It would be a big hassle to do that.
I do think they should build another Disney world location to have a third Disney world. There was talk sometime ago about building another Disney world location in Sevier county Tennessee. I think that would be a great spot because of tourism and Sevier county having a lot of things there. Also, I think there should be some Disney stuff in Knoxville TN to give a preview to Sevier county. Plus Knox county Tennessee needs more things pertaining to Disney for people to do. Sevier county has a lot of extra land to put a Disney theme park in. It would also give Dollywood a run for her money. Dollywood is the only theme park in town. Let’s give her some competition and have a Disney theme park in Sevier county Tennessee or Knox county Tennessee

  33. Tennessee

C’mon Andrew, this article is useless.

  34. Kate

I have been Pinocchio at the “World”. And if people believe that you can say “hockity pockity”, Genie, I wish or wish upon a star to move this massive theme parks in a snap are believeing in a lie. Do you know how many native people from their country work at Epcot? People are really losing common sense. This is definitely Disney trying to pull the sword out of the stone to rule over Florida government!

  35. Joe

What happened to freedom of speech ? Freedom of expressing your ideas ? Freedom of expressing what you think ? You are going to get punished and retaliated for that? And then you claim you are all about Freedom? Republicans/GOP in general have claim for years limited government interference in our lives as a mantra for ever and then when somebody in power /government acts like this governor DeSantis they not only stay quiet but actually voice their support ? When a dictator wannabe like Trump tries to remain in power with lies and deceit they not only stay quiet but still support him . I’m an independent, have vote for Republicans in the past but the state of affairs in this country and in Florida right now is really sad to see in this country so called land of the free .

  36. It took them 4 yrs to build tron. They are changing splash mountain into tianas bayou adventure. I refuse to believe they are moving. Probably a push back stunt against Florida residents. Mad they lost tax exemptions

  37. Libel mountains because people come to Florida to enjoy the weather and resorts year-round if they ever moved no one would hear from the negan and someone else will take their place instead of moving they should consider how to stay apolitical and stop mixing to lesbian and queer business

  38. Susan M Gaskill

I feel they should just shut it down then,,show DeSantis what his REVENGE does to his State.

  39. DL

Disney will be around for another 100 years, DeSantis will not.
