Wow, and I thought Bob Iger was going to pull Disney out of the PR slump they’ve been in since Chapek. Safe to say this is not what we hoped to see. Come on Disney! You can do better!
last year I spent over $1600 in passes for 2 vacations about 14 park days between the two. So with a $969 annual pass I’m happy. I am a DVC member so yes I go more than some people might. No one ever said Disney was a cheap place to go!
Luckily, I never lost my AP. I got a four month extension and then renewed about a month before the passes were stopped. Again luck was with me because I got an extra trip on the extension. However, as the prices creep up, it may become a non issue. I can eat, drink, golf, and other fun things with the APs funds. We do like the discounts on merchandise and food. I am ready for the TIW (tables in wonderland) card to return. The AP is still a bargain for DVC travelers of you go 8 or more days a year to the parks.
Yes I think it’s worth it if you visit 2 times a year. We visit 7-10 days due to disability. It was hard to justify going more than once as DVC members without a annual pass.
We will now stay DVC members. We just spend 4-6 hours at the parks on average a 2 day ticket was expensive and not worth it
