Woke or not, this remake era needs to die…the saying is, “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it”, and no matter what they try, Disney cannot outdo Walt Disney.
“The trailer isn’t presenting a woke remake of Disney’s 1953 film”
Obviously it is. Watch the 2 back to back and you’ll notice the subtle differences. Lol
This seems to be all about great special effects to cover up the bad acting.
It seems over dramatic and consists of a bad pool of acting talent.
Hook is one of the best versions precisely because of the immeasurable talent and believability of the world due to such acting.
This is a Subpar remake done for no reason other than to show off today’s special effects which will be the only saving grace.
Like a bowl of ramen made with spaghetti noodles only to have the sauce be amazing and make the spaghetti noodles bearable.
This isn’t woke? Seriously?
Peter Pan is now of middle eastern descent.
Tinkerbell is now black.
The lost “boys” are now lost “kids”.
The movie is a “modern adaptation” of a classic story. That in and of itself is a “woke” move.
Disney has lost its creativity and that is clearly evident by all their recent remakes. If hey had creativity, they would make new films with “diversity” and/or “inclusion”, rather than remaking/recasting just for the sake of showing how “diverse” they can be..
If you question any of this pandering they will call you a facist. Careful . Meanwhile, most POC do NOT care about it. So like most far left goofy wokism is backfires

No need for a “diverse” remake. It’s a British tale, no? And leave Tink alone! JC people.
