Anyone under 21 should only be allowed with someone over 30 or a parent. These teens especially the inner city ones just want to cause trouble and fight each other. Good thing Six Flags is becoming a “premium” experience. They also need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and banned from all six flags for life. Families should be the only ones allowed in after all the violence
It is very sad to me that flights at theme parks/amusement parks are becoming an issue. I also hate that it’s smearing the reputation of teenaged park goers because I can safely say not all teens go to a park looking for a fight. Unfortunately not everyone has very high standards anymore for proper behavior in public. There’s deeper issues than just the fighting in the parks…the issue is the people themselves and that they have problems they bring with them to the parks.
I am 20 years old and have traveled from OH to many different amusement parks in the following states (OH, KY, MI, PA, TX, VA, NJ, CA, MO, FL, and TN). I count it a privilege to get to visit and experience different places and I work for every trip it take. Trust me when you drop $300 on airfare and park tickets and Uber bills the last thing you want to do is get in a fight at an amusement park. Young people are an important part of the amusement park industry however, if they continue abusing the parks and wearing out their welcome, we could potentially see repercussions that would be devastating to park goers such as myself who travel solo and don’t have/need any guardian to act “respectful” at an amusement park. One of the most annoying thing traveling to me personally is that some hotels require the primary guest to be 21 years old. At 18 you are apparently mature enough to vote and join the military and get married but you can’t check into a stinkin hotel? How can I be trusted to fight for our country on a foreign field but I can’t be trusted to sleep one night by myself at a hotel? Answer, too many teens abused the hotel industry with partying/trashing rooms that they put a higher age limit on it. I would hate to see amusement parks be forced to do that but if the problems continue I would not blame the parks for taking action….
