I am not sure the audiences are looking for shorter episodes. Who wants to watch less of something they enjoy!? 60 minute episodes and 8 per season should be bare minimum!
It’s funny that the op says Andor is a hit considering it was the least watched SW show. That has to mean it was not as good as people out there want it to be and that’s saying alot seeing that Kenobi wich was awful had many more viewers.
Andor was awesome! It’s the first Star Wars show for adults. Which is a new thing for Disney. It also will only be 2 seasons telling one complete story in 24 episodes. If fanboys wanna take out their soothers and actually watch something that is basically a spy thriller set in the Star Wars universe then they might change their minds. Andor is the way to go to keep Star Wars fresh and away from the Skywalker saga.
