I guess I won’t visit with my AP holding girlfriend that often. Last time we went, was for a RunDisney race and I did stuff off property because park passes have become too expensive to be worth it. It’s not that the parks themselves aren’t worth $200 per day (when you factor in pass, park hopper, and genie+), but then you have to factor in food and long lines, and the experience is not worth the price tag anymore.
WILL ALWAYS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN UNRESOLVABLE. BEEN GOING FOR 56 YRS.
PREMIUM ANNUAL PASS OLDER FOR 20 OF THE 30 YRS. IT HAS EXISTED AND NOTHING DISNEY HAS DONE, IS DOING OR WILL TRY IN FUTURE TO DO, SEEMS AS THOUGH ONLY THE AP HOLDERS ESPECIALLY THE TOP PREMIUM AP HOLDER SUFFERS AND LOSES THE MOST EVERYTIME THERE IS SOME PRICE OR RESTRICTION CHANGE. MY INSPIRE KEY DOES LESS FOR ME NOW AT $1600 THAN IT DID WHEN I WAS PAYING $99 PER. YR I GOT MORE. SO PLEASE STOP MESSING WITH AP HOLDERS TO TRY AND RESOLVE A PROBLEM AND WILL EXIST WITH OR WITHOUT US THERE. ITS NOT FIXABLE EVER, NEVER NEVER.
How about get rid of the reservation system. Ever since that have put that in place the parks have been overcrowded even in the slow months. It used to be summer and holidays that you’d deal with overcrowding, now it’s everyday.
I totally agree they need to get rid of that reservation system I live two hours away from the park and by the time I get to the second park open only go on one or two roads and have to go back home because the traffic is horrible on 192 it’s took me three hours to get home when I went a few weeks ago so I don’t like the reservation system they still have a lot of crowds which never has bothered me I’d like to come and go to the park and park hop to the other ones I know I can only get one and a half parks It’s ridiculous.
Disney has been using the pass system badly by trying to micromanage the staffing vs guests for the day. They outright have to staff more than they are doing for anything to at least be a better guest experience. Then maybe they can look at limiting the guests per day. Until they raise the staffing levels to match their guests better ,they won’t have the proper optimal baseline of true customer service staff to guests. Once they get that sorted, then they can start playing with limiting guests, the other side of the equation. Playing around with both sides of the guest vs staffing is them just guessing and flailing around.
