He’s my favorite GB After Egon (and love him almost as much as Egon), Ernie has always been the most kind, funny and approachable Ghostbuster actor since the 84 movie.
Fans Absolutely love the guy and with his importance to the other Ghostbusters as shown in afterlife (keeping Ray’s bookstore and the such, re-buying the Firehouse Station and the Ecto-1 to restart the Ghostbusters) it’s Mindboggling to me that he won’t be an active and important part of the new movie.
I am the Director of the Costa Rica Ghostbusters Office (Ghostcorps) Cosplayer’s group so you can tell just how hardcore a fan I am but if they decided to cut off Ernie after what was offered at the ending of Afterlife I can honestly say I’ll have no desire to support the next movie at all.
I get this is a new generation fully taking the mantle movie now but just capping THE Guy that kept the Station and the Ecto and Ray and the such ALIVE like that kills my desire to see it.
