Let us all hope DE-Wokeified becomes in reality and goes back to what Walt dreamed off!!

      Define woke.

And who is to say Disney would be against making sure everyone is given fair treatment and representation in the parks and media? Pretty sure he said ALL ARE WELCOME!

  2. Gary

But folks who are making Disney into something that he would not want, like you want to be taught to little kids!!

If you mean about LBGT+ people. Yes, kids should know. There is nothing wrong with being gay. It’s normal. There is nothing wrong with kids knowing gay people exist.

      1. Walt

It is NOT normal. Normal by definition is what the majority situation is. The majority “situation” is hetero relationships. But the LBGT$%^&&GF are sure working hard to convert kids. You know what?!? Being homosexual used to be considered a sexual disorder – it was in the DSM IV (diagnostic services manual) as late as the 90’s. Until activists blew whistles and protested at the psychiatric convention and the leaders were terrorized into changing it. And all you wanted was to be married right (sarcasm). I could care less what you do in your bedroom stop sticking it down everyones throats. Remember it was “tolerate” then “Accept” then “Celebrate”. You must celebrate it or you will be canceled.

Just like you are Marcus no thank you and trying to make little ones should be a crime and the Woke folks who are trying should be put in prison say for about 10 yrs with no chance for parole PERIOD

Looks like DeSantis wants to have his own Mara lar go

  4. This is an Iger issue and shareholders that pressured Chapek to get involved with the politics. Chapek called DeSantis prior to making a statement. There you go. I hate to see Reedy Creek go.

    1. Walt

It was a few militant cast as well. Media reported on a “large gathering” of cast members protesting when it was in reality 30 – maybe?!? The ones against won’t because of the fascism of the left. This did not start with Chapek – WAKE UP Iger is the author of ALL of this crap.

Say goodbye to the pristine roadways and landscaping and hello to dirty trash filled roads and graffiti art on all buildings and overpasses. Cause you can bet these non landowner board members don’t care if the area looks like Opa-locka Fla.

  6. Walt

Wah wah wah wah – Go Ron. Disney deserved this. GET RID OF IGER.

  7. DDS

Could someone PLEASE explain to me why, sexual or gender identity in public schools from kindergarten through third grade is necessary?!?!? What happened to reading, writing and arithmetic?

    1. Gary

They can not all they do is try to shame you because you are not Woke, DDS just keep hitting them hard and get others to do the same thing I am mainly because I am a Cousin to Walt & I do not like it one bit and maybe we can get Disney on Walt’s track & not WOKE!!

To para phrase DeSantis a corporation cannot tell government how it should be run. But should government tell a corporation how it should be run?

I think we should look at the big picture…..if this is how little Ronny reacts against Disney, just because he has thin skin, then what would he do if he becomes President? I don’t think we need another Trump in office. Be careful what you wish for. As for the Disney property, yes, say goodbye to the clean and pristine roadways.

I am a conservative who voted for DeSantis. In theory, I don’t think that Disney should have special advantages that Universal and Sea World don’t. I believe that is fundamentally wrong in our system of laws. I am also a huge Disney fan. I won’t boycott them just because I don’t like everything they do. Having said that context, as much as I think Reddy Creek was probably unfair, I disagree with how DeSantis handled it. It was clearly a punishment and as a conservative, I don’t think government should punish business like this. I do think Disney overstepped and a California based corporation supporting law suits against Florida law, I believe this was the real issue, was never going to fly in this state. Disney overstepped, but so did DeSantis. Legally, he is probably right, but he did it for reasons that I don’t agree with. Disney will be fine. Honestly, I can see how this could turn out to be a good thing for them. There has to be a reason Disney was ok with it. They didn’t put up any fight.
