Some food items I’ve had multiple times seem to vary in portion size. And some don’t seem like much for a meal, or the price. This is at Disneyland Resort in California.
Usually you get 3 drumsticks at Poultry Palace. I once got 2, each seeming thicker than usual. I confirmed with them that sometimes they’ll give 2 larger ones than 3 regular sized drumsticks. But when that happens, the total amount of meat seems to be less. I’d rather have 3 regular drumsticks.
Chicken tenders at Smokejumpers Grill seem visuall small. But seem more plentiful than they appear when eaten. At least to me. Amount of onion rings wasn’t great for a side, but maybe it depends on whoever prepares the food.
The Shawarma food item at DCA isn’t great in portion for the cost.
I found the Ronto Wrap to be a run eat at Galaxy’s Edge. I found the portion alright. Same with the similar food items at Award Wieners in DCA.
Tropical Hideaway is nice for the Dole Whips. But the other food items, while intended to be snacks, are still not worth a repeat eat. One time for fun was alright on me.
Rice plate with two meat items at Bengal BBQ is another fun eat. Looks small because of small portion of rice. For a theme park food, I was okay with it. Maybe would eat again.
Fried chicken at V8 is a winner. Same with turkey legs. Beef birria sandwich at Jolly Bakery is also a nice eat.
Many cold 16 oz drinks seem to have a lot of ice as volume filler in the cup.
Never had a slice of pizza because I don’t want one for the prices at Alien and Boardwalk.
I loved getting gumbo soup for $10 at Jazz Express. I haven’t checked if that is available now.
