This is a clear sign that Disney has lost its relevance. That fact that another country is replacing the face of Disney for decades, only proves this. RIP Disney.
Absolutely, Mickey is what Walt wanted to represent the Disney name, it’s ridiculous to even temporarily replace Mickey with anything. I believe Walt is looking down so disappointed on what they are doing to his dream. Very sad to see.

Walt Disney built what it is in the first place. Can anyone today do what he did? Nobody can do what he achieved today. He had imagination, he had a dream that became reality. Those who are trying to change what is not of their own will find out Walts true admires will never except any changes to his dream. Family is what wants Walt legacy was built on. Anyone to change won’t pay to see it. Walt would be very angry knowing this is going on.
Walt Disney literally said: “I only hope that we don’t lose sight of one thing- that it was all started by a mouse.” Glad to hear this was temporary but I find it completely unnecessary to change the topiary for a single seasonal event. This is a different culture than America, and don’t forget there are literally 3 or 4 other Disney locations that still have Mickey Mouse everywhere and you are saying Disney is ruined because of one location that changed its looks because it likes other things. You can’t forget that americas parks (where it all started ) still have Mickey Mouse everywhere and that will likely never change.

Since Disney took control of The Muppets they want to do the same with Sesame Street they want to incorporate Elmo the gay. They have stated that that Disney has not have an open mind.

The people that are in power of Disney’s final say so, are WOKE frame and a way of being socialist gender they want to be social justice warrior. They want to moralized LGBQT, most of the board head directors are openly in that catorgory. I believe in open mind and free , just don’t doctrinate in my lifestyle and how I should live. That is why they want a new mascot to replace orginal name “Mortimer” Mickey Mouse because he was not universal because he was in loved with “Minerva” which was Minnie’s original name. Now they want a mascot that is universal for all those to LOVE according to new directors. That is why they are pushing for new icon mascot for Disney Corporation!
