I know a family that used to go to Disney 3-5 times a week. Back when my family had Sea World annual passes, we went 15-20 times per year, and we spent money every time. Locals are the bread and butter for any business, and especially theme parks. That’s why the discounts exist.
I really wanted Starcruiser to do well, because can you imagine all the awesome immersive experiences we could have had? Picture a hotel where you have a week-long Godfather experience, or a real-life Hogwarts where you try to solve a mystery, or whatever. But five thousand dollars for a long weekend was always going to be way too much money, and I’m not shocked that Disney’s anticipated demand is not materializing.
