This won’t stop inflation, if anything it’s going to make things worse. Other businesses in Orlando are going to be forced to raise wages to retain employees which in turn will raise prices. We need to control inflation by making sure production costs are lowered. If anything we learned is when people have more money means people will spend more, which require production to be increased. I’m not saying anyone shouldn’t be paid a fair living wage but there comes a time where you have to say when are costs going to come down.

Guys & gals I knew you could get something you could live with, now the next question is what about the thousands of lay offs!

There is now going to be the following, reduction in hours, and more layoffs. Those who have been already laid off are not going to be brought back anytime soon. They would only add to the increased cost of this new pay increase.

This doesn’t fix the problem. Inflation will continue to rise. Rent and cost of living will just go up higher as everyone gets paid more money and people continue moving to Florida faster than they can build housing.

And yes your Disney tickets will now skyrocket. And a lot of families will soon start to get priced out.

    1. Now add another 1000 layoffs to the original number of layoffs…and they wont be called back

I guess the cost of parking at Disney will now increase so the guests can pay the increase in salary. Plain and simple economics. Where do you think the money will come from? Certainly not from the Disney wallet.

Well…guess this is one more reason for me to retire from being a nurse! Ironically, many of these cast members and the union pushing for this wage increase, will continue to vote for the same politicians responsible for higher taxes and inflation. Education vs indoctrination!

I’m assuming you/they or whatever it is (I don’t honestly care, you be you just don’t judge me for me being me, anyway), what does that mean eat the rich? Not saying I am, I just work hard, if I want more I work harder. I don’t blame others if I don’t work harder for the things I want, nor do I expect to be handed anything for just sitting on my ass complaining about it. Have a blessed day and a long life
