“Superstar”?
Don’t make me laugh.
Speaking of laughs and Superstars, Molly Shannon would’ve made a much better Captain Marvel than Brie Larson. And wouldn’t have dissed Marvel’s fanbase.
Oh, I guess you’re one of those “fan boys” (emphasis on the boy part) that made a perfectly suitable actress doing a great job “controversial”. More to the point, that’s not even what this article is about but knowing that would require reading the article which is probably a little more than you can manage.
I’m a woman who did go to Captain Marvel. I actually liked it an saw it twice. However, I think that Brie Larson was the one who made it controversial more than the so called “fan boys”. Brie is a total brat in my opinion who whines about everything. Fo I want equality in Hollywood for women? Yes, absolutely. But the way that salary works in industries like film, music, and sports is based upon your star power. Brie is probably just mad that she isn’t getting paid as much as RDJ and is having a hissy fit over it. That is not how this works. He worked his butt off to get to where he is at and has been around way longer so he deserves the higher pay. Yes, the women superstars are still not getting paid as much. I give her that, but she has not been around that long to hit superstar level yet, but feels entitled to it now. That is why she rubs most people the wrong way.
Brie isn’t a “suitable actress” she was terrible. Plus Marvel should have used their REAL version of Captain Marvel nobody likes Ms. Marvel stealing the mantle. Brie did a trash job cause she is a talentless hack.
She literally walked around gyms, threatening to beat up dudes to promote her own brand of toxic masculinity, then publicly stated that she didn’t want white men seeing her movie, it wasn’t for them. I think she made it controversial on her own without any help.
My thoughts exactly… The character and acting sucked and I’m not trying to be mean.
The way they tried to make her out and all her bravado in end game was laughable and Thanos put her down like a bad second rate hero she is
The Original Captain Marvel was called the “Big Red Cheese” and Brie Larson was named after a Pretentious Runny Cheese.
Larson won’t be missed

Dear writers of articles like this: please don’t refer to something as “controversial” simply because a bunch of butt hurt fan boys didn’t like that a female was starring in a superhero movie. The only thing controversial about it was why it hadn’t happened sooner.
Obviously typical know nothing. The “fan boys” are qhat have made the MCU money, and it was controversial because it was trash but Marvel and Disney pretended like their buying tickets to give away didn’t count towards their imaginary ticket sales but still counted towards box office $
You are right Drake. Disney had to buy tickets to make it appear anyone wanted to see this character. Photos proved a sold out house was actually a few real ticket buyers. Talk about butt hurt.
No one cares that she’s a girl. We care that she’s a self-righteous jerk and a bad actress. No one read Captain Marvel comics anyways, and that’s because people don’t like knock-off Superman.
It is sad to see her go, but she feels she must go while on top. I understand and wish her the best in the future. She is very talented and will go on to do Better and great things. We all will miss her. Let’s just say SHE WAS THE CAPTAIN.
My my how times quickly change. I remember Feige going hard for Larson being the face of the mcu. Going as far as Deceiving everyone into thinking that captain Marvel was going to be to important to endgame. But she was not. Times have changed from Marvel and certainly not for the better if anything it’s gotten worse.

Here to see the bimbo Larson simps cry foul at the “fan boys”. Yall didnt disappoint; delusional and hysterical as ever. “Not controversial”? A terrible actress joins Marvel and instantly bashes it’s fans. Get real.
This is an article about the current Captain Marvel comic Lead, Kelly Thompson, leaving, right? So why does it take half the article, which is peppered with photos of someone else, to actually say that?
Good riddance. We were all excited for her until we realized that the character arc was another poorly written cash grab, and Brie Larson sealed the deal by shitting on her fan base and virtue signaling nonstop. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Yawn, captain marvel was unwatchable. There hasn’t been a good marvel film since gardians.

It’s not Brie Larson’s fault that Captain Marvel is a horrendously bad, boring, and non-interesting superhero character.
George
End of an era? It not like RDJ or Scarlett Johansson leaving…..that’s the end of an era. Brie Larse? Come on!

She hated the Marvel fan base..
She even insulted them..
Not a good look and she may be finished in Hollywood..

No
It’s not the “end of an era” 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 she’s not a very good actress to begin with and behind the scenes she’s a crazy liberal nutjob.
Jimbards
Your info is wrong. Carol Danvers didn’t take on the role as Captain Marvel in 2012, but actually in Captain Marvel #18, November 1969…..

But the haters bought it and are celebrating the non-departure of Larson because they can’t be bothered to read the article. LOL
