I’m not a fan of the Simpson’s but this particular ride is surprisingly fun. We never allowed our children to watch the show anyway so we don’t care about reason for that particular reference. I read often that some people find it too rough or disorienting but my hubby loves it and he gets sick on some rides. Replacing the ride with something from a show less encouraging of smart alleck children and less demeaning to adults would be high on my list if that’s possible. The structure seems quite large so I’m sure that there’s room for a really good replacement.
I got day ruiningly sick on this ride. I rode it around 2 and had to go back to the room immediately to recover. No gonna miss it if they tear it down on both coasts.
I imagine if they did tear down Simpsons Land at Universal Studios Hollywood, they would replace it with Diagon Alley for Wizarding World. Hogsmead is already next to there, so it would fit.
Replace toon landing with SpongeBob. Replace Mavel Island with Transformers or DC. Replace Simpsons with Kid friendly, Pets, Madagascar, or Kunfu Panda. Or to spice it up, replace Simpson with a better version of Fast and Furious or Lord of the Rings!
The Simpsons Ride is the worst ride in the park. It is so outdated and feels stuck in the 90s. The show building looks old and unkept and the ride itself just isn’t all that fun and known to cause problems for people. We always talk about Disney having a magic feel to it. Areas like Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, Lost Continent, and Jurassic Park get close to matching that but the Simpsons area is completely the opposite. Seuss Landing is getting there too but we can probably deal with that for a few more years.
I feel like I’m the only one who loves the Simpsons land. I haven’t been yet and I’ll be devastated if it’s gone before I get to see it in person! It’s such a great show and it deserves to have theme park rep- the replacement ideas I’ve seen aren’t things I’m interested in at all, but maybe that’s just me.

Give back Marvel to DIsney and keep The Simpsons. Universal can flip easily to DC in Islands of Adventure.
Haley
Don’t give Marvel to Disney any more than they already have. They will milk it to ruins. But I vote we change the Simpsons area to a Pokemon park!
Hannah
Pokémon! That’s such a cool idea and they could also do looney tones for another one 🙂

Never rode it. But if Disney owns the rights to it, then knock it down and build something that universal does own. Maybe a full time scare zone
