The prices are very high and getting a reservation is mind -boggling. I have a $100 Disney gift card, but I don’t plan to use it until December this year. And just for a one-day visit only at Disneyland.
After going everyday for 8 years (setting a record), and then covid forcing that record to stop, plus rising prices, would make anyone want to take a break.
I agree the reservation system is terrible. Perhaps if they limited the people allowed in the parks to a reasonable number I wouldn’t mind it. But to face 3-4 hour waits on rides or pay extra to get on faster… not a fan. I love Disney but bad choices.
When I was stationed at Long Beach Naval Hospital, in the late 80’s, we all had seasonal passes. Blackout was June/July/August, when no one in their right mind would want to go anyway. Thoroughly enjoyed just popping in and spend a couple of hours, or just going for the fireworks, or stopping in for a bite.
