It’s free REIN, not free REIGN. A rein is the strap that goes from the bit in the horse’s mouth to the rider or driver’s hands. Free rein means letting the horse have his head and run free. Which can be a problem. Pro tip: Snub the horse’s nose by pulling back on one rein so the horse’s head faces your knee. As for reign, that refers to a leader in control of a nation, and ‘free reign’ I suppose means tyranny, but really, free rein is a much better metaphor.

I love the bubbles UNLESS they are blowing them at my table while I am eating……….I also dont understand why parents cant make their kids behave and not run around like wild animals unless they are in a more quiet area ( and there are areas around where it is more quiet for that) …….Kids do need to run, but they also need to learn how to behave …….. Respect is taught by parents and seems like more and more they arent taught that.

Yes , definitely! Children won’t learn respect for others unless the parents teach them. I expect to see kids running around a Disney park. But it’s also incumbent on the parents to rein in their children when they are getting out of hand and not just let them roam wild until someone complains. Yes the kids should have fun, but they do have to be respectful of others around them.
Same goes for Disney Adults, and anyone else in the world. Just plain be mindful of yourself and respect others around you. WDW used to better than DLR at the guests respecting one another, and seems like the last few years they’ve been trying to catch up with DLR.

I wish they would have adults only days at the parks at least once a month

Last summer, 4th of July weekend, eating breakfast in club level lounge. Parents mid 30s with a few kids taking up 2 tables. Not a big deal, plenty of room in the lounge. However, the kids never sat still, running all over the lounge, grabbing something to eat, taking one bite then throwing it on the ground or on a table then grabbing something else and repeating the process. Child that can’t walk yet crawling all over the lounge and parents paying no attention. Not once did they say anything to the kids to sit down and be respectful to those around them, much less apologize to anyone around them. I felt so sorry bad for the CMs who had to clean the mess they left.
