Disney knows what to do, Walt in 1958 said no alcohol so if current Disney top leadership has any guts they know that they have to do as Walt says. Then and only then will reduce quite a bit. There will most likely some slip thru the cracks but most of it will be gone!

Good luck explaining this to the French…

See this is why Walt didn’t want alcoholic beverages in the parks.

That was why Walt didn’t want alcohol sold in his park. The greed of management that followed after he died, has led to the current problem.

They promote “drinking around the world” at EPCOT. Each booth has no way of knowing how much alcohol has been consumed by guests. Not good.

You know what would happen. People who don’t drink would buy for those who wanted more. Personally, I think 6 is a bit much for a day at Disney. I’d be happy to go back to no alcohol at all.

There is so much alcohol at Epcot, basically every 50ft, and nonstop events. I was disappointed in the lack of fun alcohol-free drinks as compared to Magic Kingdom, and unhappy with the party atmosphere there. Changes are clearly needed here.

A bit lazy to jump to the other extreme and say ‘no alcohol’. Surely the answer is learning moderation and encouraging it as something to be enjoyed with food?
I would have no issue if you had to buy a snack at the Epcot booths at the same time, and it is relatively easy to police. If people want to throw then food then you are doubling the cost of the alcohol and that will limit consumption.

Niall Walt said no alcohol and that’s that end of discussion!

Last time we were at Disneyland ! There were 3 girls that couldn’t even walk being escorted out. Fighting with security – swearing and fighting with security. It was horrible. They don’t even sell drinks in Disneyland. For me the magic is gone! Leave the booze for downtown Disney!

I have been going to Epcot for years 4 times a month and most of the time the fights are about people cutting lines or children running into someone and told to watch what they are doing and the parents start fighting with that person or someone stealing from someone . So it is not just from drinking
